John Stamos Tweets He Is 'home and well' After DUI Arrest, Hospitalization...

John Stamos tweeted he is "home and well" after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence this weekend.

Officers with the Beverly Hills Police Department stopped the 51-year-old television star's vehicle Friday night after they received numerous complaints about a motorist driving erratically.

The police determined Stamos was intoxicated and needed attention for a possible medical issue, so they brought him to a hospital to get checked out. He is due in court Sept. 11 to answer the DUI charge.

"Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I'm home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care," Stamos said in a Twitter post Saturday, without offering further explanation for the incident.

The actor will soon be seen in two new small-screen series Grandfathered and Fuller House.

Benedict Cumberbatch's Wife Sophie Hunter Gives Birth To A Son...
British actor Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife, opera director Sophie Hunter, have welcomed their first child, a son.

"Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son," the couple's representative said in a statement. "We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during these next few precious weeks."

No other details regarding the child's birth or his name were immediately announced.

Hunter and Cumberbatch were wed on Feb. 14.

The actor is best known for his work on TV's Sherlock and Parade's End, as well as in the films The Fifth Estate, August: Osage County, Star Trek Into Darkness and The Imitation Game.

Foo Fighters Cancels Two Shows After Dave Grohl Breaks His Leg...
The rock band Foo Fighters has canceled shows planned for Sunday and Tuesday after front man Dave Grohl fell off of a stage at a concert in Sweden and broke his leg this weekend.

"As witnessed by tens of thousands in attendance at Foo Fighters' June 12 show at Ullevi Stadium, Dave Grohl took a nasty spill during the second song of the set. With the help of on-site medical staff who patched him up temporarily, Dave was able to rejoin the band to complete that performance," the musicians said in a statement on their website.

"While the full extent of Dave's injuries are still being determined, it was confirmed at a post-show hospital visit that he sustained at least one fracture," the message continued. "As a result, Foo Fighters have been forced to cancel their June 14 appearance at the Pinkpop Festival, as well as their June 16 show at the AFG Arena in St. Gallen, Switzerland."

Nina Dobrev cozied up to Austin Stowell this week.

The 26-year-old actress was spotted with the 30-year-old actor at the Hallmark Shoebox anniversary party Wednesday. The pair arrived together but did not walk the red carpet, and were later seen kissing during the event.

"[They were laughing and] getting cozy during the comedy show," an onlooker told People magazine. An insider added, "She was very happy to have a night out with her new guy. And she was very excited to see her friend Rob Riggle host the show."

Dobrev and Stowell were first linked after they were spotted spending time together at the Indy 500 in May. Less than a week later, the pair helped treat two Kind Campaign fundraiser winners to a dinner with such celebrities as Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul.

Dobrev previously dated The Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder from 2010 to 2013. The actor married Twilight actress Nikki Reed in April, and Dobrev subsequently told E! News she is happy for the couple and thinks it is "beautiful" they wed.

Dobrev portrayed Elena Gilbert for several years on The Vampire Diaries, but will not return for season 7. Stowell is known for playing Kyle in Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2, and appeared in Love and Honor, Whiplash and Behaving Badly.

It's Maggie Gyllenhaal... Maggie recently filmed sex scenes for BBC Two miniseries The Honourable Woman, and said the experience was awkward but rewarding.

"Of course it's uncomfortable to take your clothes off in front of people you don't know, but it can be an opportunity for really interesting acting," she said on a panel of fellow actresses for the TV special. "I'm 37, and I've had two babies, and I'm kind of like, interested in nudity now."

"In The Honourable Woman, Nessa is such a controlled person ... I really wanted the sex to be like, animal," she shared. "Or you know, like what a woman who's my age actually really looks like. I am much more turned on when I see shows where people's bodies look like bodies I recognize."
