Russell Crowe adopts intense training schedule...
Actor Russell Crowe has taken up a grueling training schedule in a desperate bid to finally shed the weight he gained for his role in "Body of Lies."
He packed on over 60 pounds to star in the 2008 spy film, but now the 47 year old is determined to get his body back into shape by embarking on a 105-day weight loss journey.
Russell has embarked on a daily regime of cycling and running, and admits it's a real struggle.
In a series of posts on his Twitter.com account, he writes, "First (bike) ride in quite some time. Sore legs, sore a**, be worse tomorrow and the next day... not a big deal, but a good start...There is a long way to go, one layer of tissue paper per day of effort and diet...it takes a long time."
Record label bosses tried to shut down Shelton's Twitter...
Blake Shelton's record label bosses threatened to shut down the singer's Twitter account because his messages were sometimes offensive and overly candid.
In May, Blake landed himself in trouble after posting insensitive anti-gay remarks on his social networking site.
He has since raised eyebrows for taking to the site to recount his drunken nights, and he admits executives at his music label, Warner Bros., haven't been too happy with his online behavior and subsequently tried to prevent him from tweeting to keep him out of trouble.
Blake comments, "There was a point where Warner Bros. was (sic), like, 'We've got to get Blake off Twitter, 'cause he can't say these type of things.'"
But he isn't worried about upsetting his fan base. He hopes people will remember him for being true and pushing the envelope
He adds, "I hope that people learn from me, it's OK to be yourself. It's OK to offend somebody, and, as a matter of fact, please be polarizing. If you're not polarizing, you failed in my opinion. If you don't stand for something, how can anyone respect what you do?"

It's Joe Jonas...
The Jonas Brothers star is preparing to launch his debut album, Fast Life, later this year and he took to the stage for a show in Brooklyn on Wednesday.
But his set, performed during a party for Paper magazine, proved disastrous for him. He was booed by several members of the crowd as he performed his solo material.
The concert went from bad to worse for the star, who was the target of mini-basketballs which had earlier been handed out to guests, but he refused to dwell on the incident, shouting out to the audience, "How you guys doing tonight? Let's have fun! Lemme see them drinks in the air!"
