Jesse James Says Being an Abused Child Caused His Cheating...

Having spent several earlier segments of his ABC interview baring
his soul, Jesse James saved the strongest revelation for last. He
admitted on Tuesday's Nightline that he was the victim of abuse
as a child, and that the shame of it drove him to cheat on wife
Sandra Bullock and destroy his perfect marriage.

"I was a terrorized kid," Jesse said about beatings he received
from his father. "I was petrified of my dad ? It wasn't so much
getting the sh-- beat out of me or getting my arm broken or
getting kicked or whatever or punched, it was the in-between
time. It was the fear of that happening again."

As a result of his lack of self-worth, he said, "I grew up with
a huge amount of shame and fear and abandonment on my shoulders
from a very young age, and I think, you know, the way my mind
rationalized [cheating], 'Well, you know, I might as well do
whatever I can to like run her off, 'cause she is going to find
out what I am anyway and leave me anyway.' "

Jesse added, "The struggle within myself for the things that I
did ... to damage marriage and my life and everything else, it's
all me. I'm doing it because, you know, I've basically never
felt good enough for anyone."

Jesse said it was during his rehab treatment that the memories
returned. "He beat my ass pretty good a bunch of times," He said
of his father, Larry James, who raised Jesse after his parents
divorced. "I just remember, like, clinched teeth, strained-neck
look on his face. My whole childhood, I never had a chance to be
a kid ? I was always scared."

In an email to ABC News, Larry James says his son's allegations
of abuse are not true.

prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

She has just finished wrapping up her first season as an American
Idol judge, and has now started her own record label, inspired by
12-year-old phenom Greyson Chance, whom she discovered and has

"Greyson ... inspired me to start a record label called

together," Ellen says.

Greyson has rocketed to fame thanks to his performance of Lady

he's overwhelmed by what's happened. "It's crazy thinking about
30 million people," he says. "It just makes me happy. It really

taste of Greyson's own songwriting talents on Wednesday, as he

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This reality TV star hopes to dance her way into the hearts of
the show's viewers next season...

It's The Bachelors Vienna Girardi...

"When Dancing with the Stars asked me to dance I was like, 'I'm
so nervous!'" Vienna commented. "But I watched Jake have a blast =

and I thought I'd try it."

Already a fan? Jake, who placed 7th in the competition said.
"Dancing with Chelsie has been great. I really enjoyed it,
but dancing with my beautiful fiancee really was special."

Though ABC hasn't offered her a spot on the show yet, the newly
engaged reality star is already itching to compet with her
fiancee's approval, of course.

"We'd make the decision together, but it just seems like so much
fun," Vienna says. "And for me, all the hard work I put in just
this week? Seeing how it came together was well worth it, even
though I had to be here early to get my hair and makeup done!"

In the meantime, the former Bachelor and his bride-to-be are
taking their time planning their upcoming nuptials.

"I got wedding shoes... Jimmy Choos! They have crystals all over
them," Vienna says. "I came home the other day and said, "I know =

we don't have a wedding date ... but I found the shoes!"
