Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Schumer dance atop Billy Joel's piano
Actresses Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer made a surprise appearance at a Billy Joel concert Thursday night.

Lawrence, 25, and Schumer, 34 -- who wore casual clothes for their Chicago cameo -- walked on stage with several others during the singer's final song: "Uptown Girl." Eventually, the duo -- who recently announced they're working on a screenplay together -- climbed on top of Joel's piano barefoot and danced.

Witnesses immediately took to social media to report the unforeseen event; Schumer's colleagues -- including her sister Kim Caramele -- also posted videos on Instagram.

Joel's "Uptown Girl" was a prominent tune in Schumer's screenwriting debut, Trainwreck.

According to reports, the stars and their crews rehearsed all day to get their silly cameos just right.

Jessica Lange may return to 'American Horror Story'
Actress Jessica Lange will reportedly return to FX series American Horror Story.

Series creator Ryan Murphy revealed as much in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Lange starred on the show's four previous seasons, but announced her departure ahead of season 5 in March.

"I've been talking to her," Murphy revealed. "It's always possible. I'm trying to deal with her play schedule. Jessica is always about the character. She'll be back -- she's not gone forever."

"That's the fun and fresh thing about the show: sometimes somebody has to go away before you realize how much you miss them," he opined. "She wants to come back, we just have to come up with something."

Murphy is gearing up for season 5, American Horror Story: Hotel, which will premiere Oct. 7. Singer Lady Gaga will lead the cast as the hotel owner, an Elizabeth of Bathory-inspired character, and shared a photo in costume from the show's set this week.

Lange portrayed Constance Langdon, Sister Jude Martin, Fiona Goode and Elsa Mars on Murder House, Asylum, Coven and Freak Show, respectively. The actress is preparing to reprise Mary Tyrone in Long Day's Journey into Night on Broadway.

Adele's forthcoming album may release this year
Adele's long-awaited third studio album, 25, may be hitting shelves this year.

According to Billboard, XL Recordings is planning on a November release for the anticipated record, which the 27-year-old singer has been teasing for some time.

Not much has been revealed about the "Skyfall" singer's latest project, but in May 2014 she took to Instagram to bid her 25th year farewell saying, "See you again later in the year x." Her label denied 25 was to be released at the time.

When it comes to the 25's collaborators, Adele's are numerous and impressive. Danger Mouse and Max Martin have contributed to the work while singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. penned a track. OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder is said to have returned to the project after co-writing "Rumour Has It."

Singer Ed Sheeran was not part of the project, but shed some light on the underground rumblings about his contemporary. "I haven't heard [the record], but everyone I know who've worked on it is just like, 'Dude...that record!'"

Pharrell Williams is reported to also be part of the album, telling host Ryan Seacrest in June that he's met with Adele. "I've seen her recently," he said. "She's kinda like, 'OK guys, I'm gonna open my diary for 20 minutes.' So it's like, OK, you have 20 minutes, or 32 minutes really...Then she gives it two you and closes it up and disappears, and she's off with her beautiful boy -- and that's what it's all about."

The British songstress gave birth to her first son, Angelo, in 2012 -- over a year since the release of her successful sophomore album -- with longtime boyfriend Simon Konecki. Angelo is now 2 years old.
