Craig Ferguson to be replaced by James Cordon on 'Late Late Show'

James Corden will reportedly succeed Craig Ferguson as host of The Late Late Show. Sources say the 35-year-old British comedian will step in once the 52-year-old host's contract with CBS expires in December. Ferguson has hosted the late night talk show since January 2005, and announced his intent to leave in April. "CBS and I are not getting divorced, we are 'consciously uncoupling,'" he quipped at the time. "But we will still spend holidays together and share custody of the fake horse and robot skeleton, both of whom we love very much." Corden came to fame as the co-creater, co-writer and star of BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey, and received the 2012 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his performance in One Man, Two Guvnors. He recently appeared alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo in Begin Again, and will star as the Baker in new Disney film Into the Woods.

Joe Jonas, girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler break up

Joe Jonas and Blanda Eggenschwiler have split. The 24-year-old singer and 29-year-old graphic designer were together for 20 months. The pair met through mutual friends, and started dating shortly after Jonas broke up with actress Ashley Greene. "Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways," Jonas' rep tells Us Weekly. "The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another." "It was mutual," a source confirms to E! News. "They both wanted to do new things. Joe wants to be single right now and they thought it was better if they are just friends." Jonas came to fame with brothers Kevin and Nick as the pop group The Jonas Brothers, but the band broke up in October 2013. The singer revealed at Lollapalooza over the weekend that he is developing a cooking show with friends, and said he would continue "focusing on music, acting and writing."

Jennifer Garner's rep denies pregnancy reports

Jennifer Garner is not pregnant. A representative for the 42-year-old actress has asserted recent pregnancy reports are "not true." Rumors that Garner is expecting began after she was photographed wearing a number of loose-fitting tops in Los Angeles. Garner and actor Ben Affleck have been married since June 2005. The couple are parents to three children, 8-year-old daughter Violet Anne, 6-year-old daughter Seraphina Rose and 2-year-old son Samuel. The actress said she is "done" having children on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in September 2012, but did mention her husband is "a wonder sperm kind of guy." Garner last appeared in Draft Day alongside Kevin Costner, and is scheduled to star in Men, Women & Children, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and Imagine later this year.


Ashley Olsen, new boyfriend Bennett Miller step out in NYC

Ashley Olsen was spotted with her new, older beau over the weekend. The 28-year-old actress and entrepreneur was seen with boyfriend Bennett Miller as the couple left her Manhattan apartment Sunday. Miller is a director best known for Truman Capote biopic Capote (2005) and biographical baseball drama Moneyball (2011), and will release biographical wrestling thriller Foxcatcher in November. Olsen and Miller began dating earlier this year. The actress split from 44-year-old businessman David Shulte in January, and she and Miller attended Philip Seymour Hoffman's funeral together in February. Hoffman and Miller had collaborated on Capote and Moneyball. Olsen's twin sister, Mary-Kate, has been engaged to 45-year-old banker Olivier Sarkozy since February.


Mischa Barton could lose California home over late payments

Mischa Barton could lose her Beverly Hills home after having skipped the property's mortgage payments for the last five months. The actress's 8-bedroom, 11-bathroom house has reportedly been placed in foreclosure by the lender in view of Barton's $100,000 debt. TMZ reports the former The O.C. star, 28, took out a $4.2 million loan in 2005 to purchase the $8 million home. The actress has reportedly attempted to sell the house a couple of times, but has been unsuccessful. She also tried to lease the property for $35,000 a month in 2013, but has yet to find any takers. Barton, who has been splitting her time between Los Angeles and London over the past few years, could lose the house if she doesn't work out an agreement with the lender soon.
