U.S. actor-comedian Jamie Foxx is in talks to star in an update of the musical "Annie" with 9-year-old Quvenzhane Wallis, The Hollywood Reporter said. Foxx would play the Daddy Warbucks character but with the name Benjamin Staks, the newspaper said. Hundred-dollar bills are sometimes called "Benjamins." Wallis will play spunky orphan Annie in the film Sony Pictures Entertainment is making with producers Will Smith and Jay-Z. Wallis played Hushpuppy in last year's critically acclaimed "Beasts of the Southern Wild," a role for which she became the youngest actress ever to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. Jason Aldean files for divorce after cheating scandal

U.S. country star Jason Aldean has filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart and wife of 12 years, Jessica Ussery, he said after filing court papers. The papers filed in a county courthouse in Franklin, Tenn., cited irreconcilable differences. Aldean -- whose hits include "Big Green Tractor," "The Truth" and "Don't You Wanna Stay" -- was photographed in September acting inappropriately with Season 11 "American Idol" contestant Brittany Kerr at a Los Angeles club. He issued a public apology, saying: "I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar." The Aldeans tried to patch things up, appearing together at November's Country Music Association Awards, but failed to work past the singer's cheating scandal, celebrity news website TMZ said. "This is a really tough time for my entire family," Aldean said in a statement. "Jessica and I have been together since we were teenagers. We've been through a lot of ups and downs over the years as we grew up together as a couple. She will always be important to me because she is the mother of my children, and I know that we will both always make our daughters our #1 priority. "I've learned that everyone always rushes to judgment when they hear news like this," he added. "That's really hard because no one knows anything about our relationship but us. I understand that because of my job, I have to go through a lot of this in the public eye, but for my girls' sake I really wish people would give us some level of privacy and at the very least be respectful of them." Aldean, 36, and Ussery, 33, are parents of daughters Keeley, 10, and Kendyl, 5.

A spokeswoman for Catherine Zeta-Jones says the actress has 'proactively' checked into a mental health facility for treatment of her bipolar condition. Two years ago, the 43-year-old Oscar-winner checked into a similar facility for a brief stay for treatment of her condition, known as Bipolar II. The disorder is characterized by mood swings and depressive episodes, and is commonly treated with medication and psychotherapy. Zeta-Jones has been one of the busiest talents in show business of late, appearing in such films as 'Rock of Ages,' 'Playing for Keeps,' "Broken City' and 'Side Effects.' The actress's most recent treatment was first reported by TMZ.

Dancing With the Stars' to feature dancer injured in Boston bombings

'Dancing With the Stars' will pay tribute to professional ballroom dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis, who was grievously injured in the Boston Marathon bombings, during the results show Tuesday. Although the vivacious 32-year-old's leg was amputated below the knee as a result of her wounds, she is determined to return to the ballroom. 'Dancing is my life,' she told the Boston Herald. "Yeah, having my foot blown off, that really sucks. But I can't wallow in woe is me.' On Saturday, according to a posting on Haslet-Davis' online fundraising page, ABC sent a camera crew to Boston's Spaulding Rehabilitation Center to profile the Arthur Murray Studio dance instructor. 'Adrianne's appearance on 'Dancing With the Stars' was filmed today, and will air Tuesday night,' according to the Fund for Adrianne, which has raised more than $220,000 to cover her medical expenses. 'We can't wait! Be sure to tune in!'

It's Martha Stewart ...

Martha told Matt Lauer that she had almost joined Match.com in her search for the "next Mr. Right." And now Stewart has agreed to actually give the matchmaking website a shot. "Do you think I could possibly, maybe, find a match, like many of my employees?" Stewart asked Match.com chief executive Sam Yagan on "Today" Monday. "What we know we can get you is some great first dates. I think finding a soul mate for you might be a little bit difficult, but I think first dates are easily doable," Yagan replied.
