musical.
The "Precious" star is unsure about appearing in the project,
and wants Brit Leona Lewis to play her on stage, according
to reports.
An insider says, "Mariah secretly likes the idea of Leona
Lewis playing her. Not only is she exotic, she's the only
one who they reckon would be able to tackle Mariah's eight-
octave vocal range."

Jesse James Checks into Treatment Facility...
With his marriage to Sandra Bullock in crisis and his family's
future on the line, Jesse James is seeking professional help.
"Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with
personal issues," his rep said in a statement. "He realized
that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family
and help save his marriage."
While the rep did not specify the type of treatment facility,
one source confirms he checked in on March 26, and that it was
"100 percent his own idea," and not the result of an ultimatum
from Sandra.
A cheating scandal that exploded on March 15 has sent Jesse's
nearly five-year marriage to Sandra into a tailspin with
claims that he had affairs with at least four women. Sandra
has moved out of the family home and is considering her options,
another source says.
Before seeking treatment, Jesse spent much of the last two
weeks sticking to a routine, hanging out with his three kids
and dropping them off at school and burying himself at work
at West Coast Choppers in Long Beach, Calif.

Gwyneth has been sharing her healthy eating and living advice

Teri promises the website will "provide, with humor, insight
and vulnerability, solutions to the needs and obligations of
today's modern women."
GetHatched.com, a collaboration with Disney, will go live in
May, according to reports.

James Van Der Beek to Pay Ex-Wife $7,750 a Month...
Former Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek will be shelling out
spousal support to his ex-wife for the next two-and-a-half years.
In a divorce settlement filed Monday in Los Angeles court it was
revealed that James will pay Heather Ann McComb $7,750 per month
until Dec. 2012.
The papers say James's monthly income is $35,000, compared with
Ann's income of $1,750 a month.
In the settlement, James will keep their North Hollywood residence,
all bank accounts in his name, and all residuals fromhis acting
work and rights to his screenplays and other projects he's created.
The couple, who have no children together, separated last April.
James and Ann got engaged in early 2003 and were married over the
Fourth of July weekend that year in Malibu.
The two had exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony in front of a
group of guests that included James's Dawson's Creek costars
Michelle Williams, Busy Philipps and pal Soleil Moon Frye.

Katy Perry is excited to get married. Now, if only her fiancé,
Russell Brand, could stop being such a bridezilla.
Despite a busy schedule that included getting slimed and kissing

wedding planning.

about that, too."
Whatever other details he's obsessed with, Russell probably
isn't looking at wedding dresses. As we learned a few months
ago, clothes might not be such a big part of the evening.

When Carrie Underwood marries Mike Fisher this summer, one
wedding party member is bound to stand out: Ace, her chihuahua.
"He'll be one of the ring-bearers," Carrie jokingly said during
Tuesday's Pedigree Adoption Drive event at the Bideawee Manhattan
Dog Shelter.
"I don't know if I'll give him the actual ring," Carrie added
of her pooch. "He would probably run away with it or eat it
or something."
"He's like my kid," the Carrie says of Ace. "It would be like
if I was getting married and I had a child, of course my child
would be in the wedding!"
