Hello Music lovers,

Last week's edition featured a video from Bob Dylan that was over 50 years old. I thought it would be interesting to show Dylan's son Jakob this week, performing with his band, the Wallflowers.

Going along with the theme, I found another early performance of the Wallflowers playing on Letterman. This was from 1996, the same year as one of their biggest chart toppers 6th Avenue Heartache hit the airwaves. The song is a great example of a 90s power ballad with a country-ish slide guitar hook that compliments the grungy guitars well.

And just to put things into crazy perspective, this video is from 18 years ago! Doesn't time just fly?

By the way, if you are having any problems viewing your videos, and get a 'product sold out' message, simply try refreshing your page. It should then work!

Pleasant Watching,

The Wallflowers - 6th Avenue Heartache
A great 90s song, you'll probably recognize even if you never knew the name of it. Slide guitar on top of distorted rhythm guitars is pretty cool.
