series, are ending their two-year marriage.

Hugh Jackman Injured in Oprah Appearance...
Hugh Jackman sustained a minor facial injury while making a
dramatic entrance to a taping of Oprah Winfrey's talk show
at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday.
Hugh, 42, flew on a zip-line cable from the top sail of the
famous landmark down to the stage, but hit the brakes too
late, flipped up into a lighting rig and injured his right
eye.
Oprah immediately called for a break in filming, as paramedics
rushed to the stage, but the injury was minor, and he was able
to continue with his appearance after being tended to.
"That's gonna swell," said Oprah, 56, as Hugh returned with a
small piece of tape under his eye and a visible bruise beneath
it. He then headed down into the front row to comfort his son,
Oscar, 10, who was upset by the accident.
"That was so much fun until the end," he said. Referring to
Oprah's previous guest, he added with a laugh: "Bono was meant
to do this, but they couldn't afford the insurance."
Hugh was at pains to make clear it was not the stunt team's
fault. He had had a successful practice run earlier, but said
he was distracted by the 6,000-strong crowd. "I came down
waving to everyone, looking over Sydney Harbor, saw my dad,
the kids and you, went to pull the brake and then boing," he
explained to Oprah. "Totally my bad."
"God he hit that hard," Oprah told the audience later. "Ooooh,
we're gonna see that on the news. Over and over and over
again. 'Hugh injured today. Ziplining on Oprah.' "
Hugh later returned for a stunning finale, singing "I Still
Call Australia Home" with the Qantas Children's Choir. He was
joined by fellow guest Olivia Newton-John, then Keith Urban
and Nicole Kidman and finally Russell Crowe as the crowd
unfurled a gigantic Australian flag over their heads.
Mishaps aside, Oprah said she's loved her time in Australia.
"No matter what we show you, it does not compare to actually
being here," she told her TV viewers. "I will be back."

Scarlett Johansson, Ryan Reynolds Split...
After more than two years, Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds
have decided to end their marriage, a source close to the
couple reveals.
"They are being very civil about it," the source says, noting
that the spouses separated about two weeks ago.
Scarlett, 26, began dating Ryan, 34, in 2007; the stars
announced their engagement in May 2008 and tied the knot that
September in a remote wilderness retreat in Vancouver, B.C.
The source explains that Scarlett initiated the split. At
issue? "The big problem with their relationship is the
distance," says the source. "They spent a lot of time apart
when they are working...She's been unhappy for a while."
Scarlett told Glamour last year that she's no expert on
relationships. "I don't profess to know anything about marriage
that anybody else doesn't know, or how to make it right," she
commented.
Green Lantern star Ryan, meanwhile, admitted in the October
issue of GQ that things had "changed" since they got married.
"I'm a little more guarded, I think. I'm a little bit more
wary of having my relationship turning into a soap opera."
Still, he gushed at the time that marriage was the "best part"
of his life.

Nicolas Cage starts paying back taxes owed...
Actor Nicolas Cage is making gradual progress in his bid to
settle a hefty tax debt - he's managed to pay off $360,545
of the $14 million he owes to the IRS.
The extent of the "National Treasure" star's money troubles
hit the headlines last year when he filed suit against his
former business manager, Samuel Levin, accusing the
accountant of misleading him and overcharging for his
services, sending him "down a path of financial ruin."
The allegations stemmed from a series of tax liens Cage
received from IRS officials, claiming he had failed to pay
tax on wages from 2002 to 2004 and 2007.
Levin countersued, alleging Nicolas squandered his cash on
lavish homes and luxury cars and was to blame for his own
financial missteps. The legal dispute was settled in August.
However, Nicolas has finally begun making amends with the
IRS and, according to documents, the actor had made three
big repayments by November 10, totaling $360,545.
