Taylor Swift Throws Away Fan Mail

Taylor Swift's publicist says unopened fan mail addressed to the country singer and discovered in a Nashville trash pile ended up there "accidentally." Kaylee Francescan told ABC Nashville station WKRN she found the letters -- some of which were "covered with pictures, hearts and sparkles" while she was throwing trash in a recycling container. "There were like hundreds of letters in there to Taylor Swift and I'm like, 'Oh, my gosh!' I didn't know if they were stolen [or] discarded, so I threw them in a box," Francescan said. "And I'm like, 'Somebody needs to let Taylor know.' It did bother me [because] I know how much her fans mean to her." But Swift's representative told UsMagazine.com the missives ended up in the garbage by mistake. "A small batch of mail that was supposed to be delivered to Taylor was accidentally put with letters headed for the recycling center," the publicist said.

TV's Kelly Osbourne leaves LA hospital after 5-day stay

Kelly Osbourne's publicist says the TV personality has been released from the Los Angeles hospital where she was treated after suffering a seizure last week. "After a five-day hospital stay, Kelly Osbourne has returned home and has been given a clean bill of health by her doctor," Osbourne's representative told E! News Tuesday. "Doctors ran numerous tests and determined that this was most likely a onetime episode of which there are no conclusive results. She is looking forward to returning to 'Fashion Police' this week and getting back to business and life as usual." Osbourne, 28, was hospitalized last Thursday after she suffered a seizure on the set of her reality TV show.

Desiree Hartsock named 'Bachelorette'

"The Bachelor" castoff Desiree Hartsock is to star in Season 9 of the U.S. dating competition show "The Bachelorette," ABC announced. "Desiree Hartsock and the 'Bachelor Nation' faithful thought she would happily end up with America's favorite bachelor, Sean Lowe," the network said in a news release Tuesday. "Their relationship started off incredibly strong, but somewhere along the way Desiree lost her confidence. After struggling to regain what they once had, Sean and Desiree seemed to be on the right track -- until the hometown dates. Millions watched, stunned, as Sean sent Desiree home, and they fell even more in love with her as she struggled to tell him he was making a big mistake. Now it's time for Desiree to call the shots when she gets her second chance to find love." The show is to premiere May 20, with Chris Harrison to serve as host. Lowe proposed to Catherine Giudici in the season finale of "The Bachelor" Monday night.

Timberlake: 'I absolutely love Kanye'

Pop star Justin Timberlake said during a visit to "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" in New York he is not feuding with rapper Kanye West. West publicly criticized Timberlake's new song, "Suit & Tie," last month. When Timberlake sang the song while serving as host of "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend, he changed the line, "Aww, [expletive] so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit" to "my hit's so sick, got rappers acting dramatic." Asked on Monday's edition of "Late Night" about the apparent dig at West, Timberlake told Fallon: "Let me just, for the record, I absolutely love Kanye. So there's that. We love Kanye, right?" West and Timberlake are both recent collaborators of hip-hop mogul Jay-Z.
