Eddie Redmayne covers EW as Newt Scamander
Eddie Redmayne recently posed as Newt Scamander for Entertainment Weekly.

The 33-year-old English actor debuted his look in a cover shoot for the magazine's Nov. 13 issue. Redmayne will play the yet-unexplored Harry Potter character in the forthcoming prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The image features Scamander with his briefcase in the Magical Congress of the United States of America, the U.S. version of the Ministry of Magic. The photos were shot in the historic Woolworth Building in New York.

In the Harry Potter universe, Scamander is the author of the textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He does not factor in the Harry Potter books or movies, and the film adaptation will take place 70 years before Harry's story begins.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is directed by Harry Potter veteran David Yates, and opens in theaters Nov. 18, 2016. The movie co-stars Katherine Waterson, Allison Sudol, Dan Fogler and Colin Farrell, and revealed its logo Tuesday.

The Harry Potter film series concluded in 2011, and earned a combined $7.7 billion. Redmayne is known for starring in Les Miserables and The Theory of Everything, and will next appear in The Danish Girl with Alicia Vikander and Amber Heard.

Which rapper just had his Miami estate raided by police and assets seized?

J.K. Rowling working on new children's book
In an interview with Simon Mayo of BBC Radio 2 Book Club, "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling said Tuesday she has an idea for a children's book.

"Actually, I have written part of a children's book that I really love, so I'm definitely going to finish that," she said.

No word on whether this story takes place in the Harry Potter universe.

Rowling was doing an interview for the latest book in the Cormoran Strike series Career of Evil, which she writes under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

She has not published a book under her name since The Casual Vacancy in 2012, which is now being adapted as a BBC miniseries.

Potter fans have a lot to look forward to. The mega popular author has been working on the screenplay for the movie adaptation of her novel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. and the upcoming play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

According to Harrypottertheplay.com, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will start where the seventh book left off as the eighth story in the series, and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented onstage. It focuses on Harry and his job at the Ministry of Magic and his youngest son, Albus, who is struggling with a legacy he never wanted.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opens at the Palace Theatre London in July 2016.

Which rapper just had his Miami estate raided by police and assets seized?

It's rapper Lil Wayne! Whaaaaaaat!?

A Miami Beach estate thought to still be under the ownership of rapper Lil Wayne was raided by police Tuesday with a warrant used to seize property.

The rapper, who recently announced the Thanksgiving release date of his third project this year, No Ceilings 2, owes about $2 million to jet leasing company Signature Group, the Miami New Times reported. Per a court judge's orders, Wayne is also due to pay the company $200,000 in attorney fees.

While the rapper spent time in Los Angeles, Tuesday's raid was meant to confiscate assets which can be used to pay the debt, TMZ reported. The approved Levy warrant gave Miami-Dade police permission to break the mansion's locks and seize whatever may be of value inside the home.

Earlier this year, the rapper's home was the object of interest after a shooting was reported on the premises. WSVN reports SWAT team members spent a prolonged amount of time at the house but did not discover any wrongdoing or evidence of a shoot out. The incident was labeled a hoax.
