Here's the Scoop...

Video ThumbnailI'm not sure what the movie-going experience will hold for us post COVID-19, but if Christopher Nolan's latest is any indication we are all in for a treat.

John David Washington gets the ability to alter the flow of time in the latest trailer for director Christopher Nolan's upcoming action-thriller, Tenet.

Washington, in the clip released on Thursday, teams up with Robert Pattinson in order to stop World War III from happening.

Washington has a unique and mysterious ability to communicate with the future in order to aid him in his mission. The ability is referred to as Inversion, and differs from time travel.

The duo also crash a plane into a building and get into a shootout inside a concert hall full of people.

"This reversing the flow of time. Doesn't us being here now mean it never happened?," Washington's unnamed character asks.

Tenet is still scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 17. Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clemence Posey, Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh also star.

CBS to air Daytime Emmys ceremony June 26

CBS announced plans Wednesday to air the 47th annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony on June 26.

"As a leader in daytime, we are thrilled to welcome back the Daytime Emmy Awards," said Jack Sussman, the network's executive vice president of specials, music and live events. "Daytime television has been keeping viewers engaged and entertained for many years, so it is with great pride that we look forward to celebrating the best of the genre here on CBS."

Nominations in key categories are to be announced on Thursday's edition of The Talk.

Both the nominations announcement and the prize presentation will be taped using video-conference technology and social-distancing practices enacted to slow the spread of the coronavirus, which has killed about 326,000 people worldwide.

"In these challenging times, daytime has been a primary influence in staying connected with its audience, entertaining them and keeping them informed," said Emmys executive producer and director David McKenzie of Associated Television International. "We are honored to be a part of it. We are also excited for the challenge of introducing a new format that will celebrate the contributions of daytime television."

This is the 14th time the awards ceremony will air on CBS. The last time was in 2011. The event has been streamed online since 2016.

Peter Dinklage, Jason Momoa to reunite in new vampire film

Former Game of Thrones co-stars Peter Dinklage and Jason Momoa will reunite in a new vampire film.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed Wednesday that Dinklage, 50, and Momoa, 40, will star in the Van Helsing reboot Good Bad & Undead.

Deadline said Max Barbakow will direct the Legendary film, which is based on an original idea by Mark Swift and Damian Shannon. Swift and Shannon co-wrote the Friday the 13th reboot and Freddy vs. Jason.

Dinklage will star as the vampire hunter Van Helsing, with Momoa as a vampire who has vowed never to kill again. The pair run a scam where Van Helsing pretends to vanquish the vampire for money, but a massive bounty is put on the vampire's head.

Dinklage and Momoa played Tyrion Lannister and Khal Drogo, respectively, in Game of Thrones, but did not share scenes. The HBO series ended in May 2019 after eight seasons.

Dinklage will also star with Rosamund Pike in the new film I Care a Lot. Momoa will reprise the title character in the upcoming Aquaman 2, and discussed the sequel with Entertainment Tonight in October.

Jude Law expecting 6th child, his first with Phillipa Coan

Jude Law is going to be a dad of six.

The 47-year-old actor is expecting his sixth child; his first with his wife, Phillipa Coan.

E! News published a photo Wednesday of Law and a pregnant Coan from an outing Sunday in London. Coan showed her baby bump in a formfitting black t-shirt.

The Daily Mail also shared a photo of Law and Coan. The couple were at an upmarket grocery store in north London.

Law already has three children, Rafferty, 23, Iris, 19, and Rudy, 17, with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost, a daughter, Sophia, 10, with Samantha Burke, and a daughter, Ada, 5, with Catherine Harding. He and Coan married in May 2019.

In an interview with The Telegraph in January, Law discussed his relationship with Coan and said he'd be open to having more children.

"I'm fortunate to be with someone where I'm having more fun than I've ever had in my life. We have an incredibly stable and healthy, wonderful family existence," the star said.

"And that involves my kids who are young adults... and then the younger ones are just so much joy and so much fun," he added. "I love it, so absolutely, why not [have another]? I'm very lucky to be involved with someone I'm madly in love with. So the idea of having more children would be just wonderful."

Law recently starred in the HBO series The New Pope and the action drama film The Rhythm Section.
