Wendy Williams living in sober house due to past with cocaine

Sale 99centWendy Williams says she's living in a sober house due to her past issues with cocaine.

The 54-year-old television personality discussed her living situation and struggle with addiction during Tuesday's episode of The Wendy Williams Show.

"For some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house," Williams tearfully told the audience.

"You know I've had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment. I don't know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped," she said.

Williams said her husband, Kevin Hunter, and son, Kevin Hunter, Jr., were the only ones aware she was seeking help.

"It's been really interesting, this ride. Only Kevin and Kevin have known about this. Not my parents. Nobody," she said.

Williams said she practices pilates every day after work before attending several support meetings around the tri-state area. She returns to the sober house every night, where the doors are locked at 10 p.m.

"After I finish my appointments, I am driven by my 24-hour silver coach back to a home where I live in the tri-state," the star said. "So that is my truth."

Williams promoted her Hunter Foundation for drug education, prevention and rehabilitation, and urged others struggling to get help. She echoed her sentiments in a tweet Tuesday after the episode.

"If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, help is available," the star wrote.

Williams returned to her show this month following a two-month hiatus for health issues. She was diagnosed with Graves' disease in February 2018 after fainting on-air during an episode of her show in October 2017.

'Veep': Rhea Seehorn, Michael McKean to guest star in Season 7

Veep is adding to its list of guest stars in Season 7.

Entertainment Weekly reported Monday Rhea Seehorn and Michael McKean will appear in the final season of the HBO series. Seehorn and McKean co-star as Kim Wexler and Chuck McGill, Jr., on the AMC series Better Call Saul.

Seehorn will have a multi-episode arc as Michelle, the chief of staff of one of Selina Meyer's (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) rival candidates. Executive producer David Mandel likened the character to Amy Brookheimer (Anna Chlumsky).

"She can be very tense and is very devoted to her candidate," Mandel said.

McKean, meanwhile, will portray the governor of Iowa in one episode. Mandel said the character takes advantage of his state's importance in the election cycle.

"People are coming in and wanting his endorsement for the presidency," the producer said, "and he's trying to figure out what that can get him."

In addition, Review creator Andy Daly will guest star in several episodes as Keith, an upbeat campaign manager who joins Selina's team. Key & Peele creator Keegan-Michael Key will play an influential reverend in South Carolina.

Daly confirmed his casting in a Facebook post Monday.

"Me on TV alert: I'm in the new season of Veep! Coming to HBO 3/31," the actor wrote.

Veep released a first Season 7 trailer in February showing Selina on the campaign trail. The series returns March 31 and co-stars Timothy Simon, Brian Huskey, Kevin Dunn, Gary Cole and Tony Hale.

Oscar Isaac says finishing 'Star Wars' was emotional, 'unbelievable'

Oscar Isaac detailed what it felt like to finish filming Star Wars: Episode IX while appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Isaac will be reprising his role as talented Resistance pilot Poe Dameron in Episode IX, which is set to arrive in theaters on Dec. 20. Poe was introduced in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first film in the last trilogy of the Skywalker saga.

"By the end of it, it really was like, the emotion of the whole thing finally being over, you know that was just unbelievable. I mean, not only these three movies, but the whole Skywalker saga," Isaac said on Monday.

The Skywalker saga has been the central storyline through each mainline entry in the Star Wars series, following the adventures of Anakin Skywalker who becomes Darth Vader and his children, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.

Isaac also joked with Meyers about trying to squeeze into the Millennium Falcon. "I'm like, 'This is not made for ethnic people. Solo had very slender hips, didn't he,'" he said about trying to sit comfortably in the spaceship's cockpit.

Isaac also stars in Netflix's recently released action movie Triple Frontier, alongside Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam and Pedro Pascal.
