Luke Perry is being hospitalized after reportedly having a stroke.
TMZ said Thursday the 52-year-old actor was rushed to the hospital Wednesday morning after having a "massive stroke" at his home in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
A Los Angeles Fire Department rep confirmed to Us Weekly paramedics responded to Perry's residence at approximately 9:40 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a 911 call about someone having a stroke. The rep did not identify the person, who was transported to a local hospital.
Entertainment Tonight confirmed the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene.
"We received a 911 call at 9:39 a.m. yesterday," a department rep said. "The firefighters and paramedics from our department responded and one ambulance transported to an area hospital."
Perry's health scare happened the same day Fox announced it will revive Beverly Hills, 90210 as a new series titled 90210. Perry played Dylan McKay on the original show, but is not attached to the new project.
Perry plays Fred Andrews on The CW series Riverdale. The show co-stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Cole Sprouse, and is in the midst of its third season.
Will Smith out as DC's Deadshot, will not return for new 'Suicide Squad'
Will Smith will not be reprising his role as assassin Deadshot in Warner Bros. and DC's new Suicide Squad film from James Gunn.
Smith's departure was due to scheduling issues, noted The Hollywood Reporter. The actor never officially signed on to appear in the new film.
Deadline also confirmed Smith's exit from the villain-focused franchise.
Smith was introduced as Deadshot in 2016's Suicide Squad which also starred Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as The Joker and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. The movie followed a group of villains put together to take on secret missions for the government in exchange for lighter prison sentences.
Gunn, best known for helming Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy series, is writing and directing the new project which is titled The Suicide Squad. Gunn's version is described as a new take on the series. No castings have been announced.
Smith's exit comes after Ben Affleck recently stepped down as Batman. The pair faced off against each other as Batman and Deadshot in Suicide Squad.
Robbie, meanwhile, will be reprising her role as Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), which is set to arrive in theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
Smith will next be seen as Genie is Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin, set to arrive in theaters on May 24.

"That was like, my first date in over six or seven years. It was so awkward and I totally got drunk ... here I am, having this first date and all of a sudden I look to my left and it's two camera crews. I'm like, 'This is so weird.' I didn't even really want to flirt because it just was so awkward."

Netflix developing 'Baby-Sitters Club' dramedy series
Netflix has announced it is planning a live-action dramedy based on Ann M. Martin's children's book series The Baby-Sitters Club.
No casting has been announced yet.
Walden Media and Michael De Luca are executive producing the 10-episode show.
Rachel Shukert -- whose credits include GLOW -- will serve as showrunner, while Lucia Aniello (Broad City) will direct and executive produce.
"I'm amazed that there are so many passionate fans of The Baby-Sitters Club after all these years, and I'm honored to continue to hear from readers -- now grown, who have become writers, editors, teachers, librarians, filmmakers -- who say that they see a reflection of themselves in the characters of Kristy and her friends. So, I'm very excited about the forthcoming series on Netflix, which I hope will inspire a new generation of readers and leaders everywhere," Martin, who is also a producer on the project, said in a statement Thursday.
Martin wrote 35 books in the series, which was published between 1986 and 2000. Ghostwriters penned dozens of other installments in the franchise.
A film based on the novels was released in 1995. It starred Schuyler Fisk and Rachael Leigh Cook.

Which actor said that Tyra Banks was his worst on-screen kiss?
Scott Foley says model and actress Tyra Banks was his worst on-screen kiss.
The 46-year-old actor named Banks while answering questions during a game on Thursday's episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Foley played Noel Crane on The WB series Felicity, which Banks guest starred on in 2000. Banks played Jane Scott, who kisses and makes out with Noel in Season 3.
"She was just not into it," Foley said of Banks. "I think it was her first on-screen kiss and I was so excited about it but it was a lot bigger than it needed to be or should have been. Which isn't always bad, but most of them are great and that was... oh, she's going to kill me."
Cohen asked Foley if Banks made an open-mouth motion, which the actor confirmed.
"Yes," he said.
Felicity had a four-season run on The WB from 1998 to 2002, and co-starred Keri Russell and Scott Speedman. Foley reunited with the cast at the ATX Television Festival in June, where he said he'd "love" to do a revival.
"I would kind of love to work with you guys," the star told his former cast mates. "I would love the opportunity to find out what happened to Richard [played by Rob Benedict], to Javier [played by Ian Gomez], to Julie [played by Amy Jo Johnson], to Elena [played by Tangi Miller]."
"I don't know how it would work; I don't know what the story would be, but I would love that opportunity," he said.
Foley is also known for playing Cliff Elliot on Dawson's Creek, Henry Burton on Grey's Anatomy and Jake Ballard on Scandal. He stars in the new ABC series Whiskey Cavalier.
