Mandy Moore details intimate wedding: 'We kept it on the DL'

New bride Mandy Moore is sharing details about her intimate wedding.

The 34-year-old actress discussed her marriage and early romance with her husband, Dawes singer Taylor Goldsmith, during Monday's episode of Today.

"We kept it on the DL," Moore said of her nuptials. "People are so kind, obviously, when you get engaged. Everyone wants to know how the wedding planning is going and when it's happening. We were pretty tight-lipped about it.

"We got married at our house, just with family and a few friends, so we wanted to kind of keep the day for us," she explained.

Moore and Goldsmith tied the knot in the back yard of their home in November. The couple initially met on Instagram after Moore shared her excitement about a new Dawes album.

"Somehow he found this little message that I left and sent a message through his folks to my folks, and we sort of started corresponding through email. Then we went on a first date," she said.

"It was the most epic, three-hour first date," Moore said. "We just didn't stop talking and then he left the next day to go on tour for six weeks, so we basically got to know each other and sort of fall in love" on the phone and online.

Moore plays Rebecca Pearson on This is Us, which returned for a third season on NBC in September. She teased the show's next episode during her appearance on Today.

Kristoff St. John of 'Young and the Restless' dead at 52

The Young and the Restless star Kristoff St. John has died at age 52.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the news Monday to Us Weekly, with St. John's attorney Mark Geragos also confirming the actor's death to USA Today.

LAPD officer Rosario Cervantes told USA Today police responded to an incident Sunday in the San Fernando Valley area, where they pronounced a person dead. She did not confirm the name of the deceased.

"We did respond yesterday at 2:05 p.m. on Morea Way for a possible alcohol overdose and that's going to be a coroner's case," Cervantes said.

TMZ reported St. John was found dead Sunday at his home in the San Fernando Valley in California. Sources told TMZ police and paramedics were alerted and pronounced St. John dead on the scene.

St. John's awards include two Daytime Emmys -- in 1992 and 2008 -- for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series for his role at Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless. He won an NAACP Image Award in 1994.

Actress Yvette Nicole Brown reacted to news of St. John's death in a tweet Monday.

"No!!! This news has truly broken my heart. Kristoff was pure & so kind. I will never forget how wonderful he was to me and everyone else he came into contact with. He was just a good, good man," she wrote.

St. John, who has performed on The Young and the Restless since 1991, was hospitalized in October 2017 after reportedly threatening suicide. The incident happened shortly before the third anniversary of the actor's son's suicide.

LOOSE LIPS:

"I want to be able to make whatever choice I want to make and not have to answer to anybody but me. As long as I feel good, as long as I feel confident, screw you. Look in the mirror and fix your own life. [I want to] give people that example of somebody who refuses to let anyone dictate what the hell I do or don't do or say or don't say."

'Twilight Zone': Jordan Peele debuts as host in Super Bowl ad

'Twilight Zone': Jordan Peele debuts as host in Super Bowl adThe Twilight Zone is giving fans a first glimpse of new host Jordan Peele.

The 39-year-old actor and Get Out director appeared in an ad for CBS All Access' reboot of the show Sunday during Super Bowl LIII.

The one-minute commercial spot presented itself as a glitch in the Super Bowl broadcast. It showed the outside of the stadium before cutting to text reading, "CBS is off the air," and empty stands.

"Witness an empty space filled with thousands of screaming people," Peele says in the clip. "A man, both nowhere and everywhere at the same time."

"Answers are new questions. The unthinkable is the unexpected. When truth is not the truth, what dimension are you even in?" he asks before disappearing through a door on the field.

The original Twilight Zone was created and hosted by Rod Serling, and had a five-season run on CBS from 1959 to 1964. UPN previously revived the show from 2002 to 2003 with Forest Whitaker as host.

News broke in September that Peele will host a new version of The Twilight Zone on CBS All Access. The series premieres April 1 and will feature Steven Yeun, Adam Scott, John Cho, Kumail Nanjiani, Taissa Farmiga and other stars.

ICE arrests rapper 21 Savage for allegedly overstaying visa

New 4 BelowU.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement took rapper 21 Savage into custody on Sunday, stating he is from the United Kingdom and overstayed his visa.

The 26-year-old rapper, born Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was arrested in a "targeted operation" after ICE spokesman Bryan Cox said he was an "unlawfully present United Kingdom national" and also a convicted felon, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported.

Abraham-Joseph has been placed in "removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts," said Cox.

Cox said Abraham-Joseph came to the United States on a visa in July 2005 and it expired a year later. He had claimed to be from Atlanta.

An ICE official told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that the agency was unaware of his immigration status when he was arrested and convicted of felony drug charges in 2014.

Abraham-Joseph's arrest Sunday morning stemmed from a traffic stop in DeKalb County in which three others were also arrested.

An attorney for Abraham-Joseph issued a statement to Georgia news station WSB-TV, stating his legal team was seeking his release from ICE custody.

"We are working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with the authorities to clear up any misunderstandings," the attorney said. "Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in this country, especially in Atlanta, Georgia, and is actively working in the community -leading programs to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy."

Abraham-Joseph's most recent album as 21 Savage, I Am > I Was, released in December 2018 and topped the U.S. album chart for multiple weeks in early 2019.

He performed as recently as Thursday in the Super Bowl Music Fest at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Which former cast member has confirmed that a '90210' revival is in the works?

Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Tori Spelling has confirmed the show is being revived with the original cast.

"It's confirmed: We're doing a new 90210!" Spelling told Access Hollywood Friday. "It is the O.G. crew back together, and we're playing heightened versions of ourselves. So, the fans will be pleasantly surprised, though, because we will intercut that with scenes from the show, so it will be a whole ensemble cast playing a heightened version of themselves."

Set to return for the show are Spelling, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Ian Ziering, Jason Priestly, Gabrielle Carteris and Luke Perry.

Shannen Doherty, who recently battled breast cancer, has been invited to join the show, but her status is as yet unclear, Spelling said.

Rumors of a revival began swirling in December when several former 90210 cast members were spotted out together getting coffee, reportedly in between meetings where they pitched network executives their idea for the latest incarnation of the California soap, which initially ran on Fox from 1990 to 2000.

A sequel series called 90210 followed new characters and featured Garth and Spelling as their original characters in a guest-star capacity. It ran for five seasons on The CW from 2008 to 2013.

No start date or network for the new project have been announced.
