I've always wondered where the term "Private Eye" came from. After some investigating, and seeing their logo, the Pinkerton National Detective Agency proved to be the starting point of PIs in the US.

A truly fascinating discovery of an organization that has quite a history. So let's investigate the Pinkertons!
