Here's the Scoop...
I finally got out to the movies with the family! We did see 'Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation' over the weekend. It was my youngest boy's first movie theater experience. Sean loves the 'Hotel Transylvania' movies! He's not a fan of previews, though.
After three or four previews, Sean stood up and told the screen, "That's enough! Get to the movie!" It made me laugh because he was so right. There were so many previews for so many awful kid's movies that only nose-digging ankle bitters would want to expose to their eyes, ears, and brains.
The only previews I can remember were 'Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween' and 'Ralph Breaks the Internet' - Not interesting in the least! So many bad movies, but one that I do want to see, which we didn't see a preview for, the 'Christopher Robin' movie which is gonna make me bawl like a baby. Which is a great segue to our new Celebrity Nooz Poll which you can vote on here:
Which movie made you bawl like a baby?
The kids did loved the movie! And you can read my review for it here:
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation Review
I don't get to go to the movies much anymore, but now when I do I'm going to enjoy it more because my boys can join me.
Be Well,
Steve

Variety said Haines is departing ABC's The View to co-host the planned third hour of Good Morning America with current GMA co-host Michael Strahan.
The new afternoon leg of GMA is to begin airing Sept. 10. The network announced in May that it was canceling its food and lifestyle program The Chew to make way for it.

Haines' and Faris' fellow panelists this year were Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Meghan McCain and Sunny Hostin.
Fox News told The New York Times Guilfoyle will no longer serve as co-host of its news analysis program The Five, which also features Greg Gutfeld, Jesse Watters, Dana Perino and Juan Williams.
She did not appear on Friday's edition of the weekday program.
Politico reported the prosecutor turned pundit -- who is dating Donald Trump Jr. -- is going to work for the America First super PAC, which supports Trump's father, U.S. President Donald Trump.
She is also expected to help campaign for Republican candidates running in the upcoming mid-term elections.

'A Star is Born' to premiere at the Venice Film Festival
Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's re-make of A Star is Born is to premiere at Italy's 75th Venice International Film Festival Aug. 31, organizers announced Monday.
Set for an Oct. 5 theatrical release in the United States, the musical marks Cooper's directorial debut. He also co-wrote and produced the movie, which features Andrew Dice Clay, Dave Chappelle and Sam Elliott. Although she had a role in the TV series American Horror Story, A Star is Born will be Gaga's first big-screen, acting job.
"In this new take on the powerful love story, Cooper plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers -- and falls in love with -- struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally's career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons," a synopsis said.
The movie features original songs Cooper and Gaga performed live on-camera.
The project was announced last August and the first trailer for it was released in June. Previous screen incarnations of A Star is Born premiered in 1937, 1954 and 1976.

Which Oscar-winning actress will play God in the series 'Good Omens'?
Frances McDormand has been cast as God in the new Amazon series Good Omens.
McDormand, 61, is known for her roles in Fargo and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
"Derek Jacobi is the Metatron. He's the Voice of God. In much the same way that a Presidential Spokesperson used to be the Voice of the President," series creator Neil Gaiman tweeted Friday. "Frances is the real thing. She's the one who asks Aziraphale where his flaming sword is, for a start."
"The end of the world is coming, which means a fussy angel and a loose-living demon who've become overly fond of life on Earth are forced to form an unlikely alliance to stop Armageddon. But they have lost the antichrist, an 11-year-old boy unaware he's meant to bring upon the end of days, forcing them to embark on an adventure to find him and save the world before it's too late," an Amazon synopsis said.
Starring David Tennant as demon Crowley and Michael Sheen as angel Aziraphale, the 2019 series is based on the beloved book Gaiman wrote with Terry Pratchett. Pratchett died three years ago at the age of 66.
Amazon released a behind-the-scenes video of the making of the fantasy show on YouTube Friday.
"It's sort of unlike any television show I've ever been a part of. Every day, there is someone in prosthetics or something being blown up. I can't wait to see it finished," said Tennant, who previously starred in the TV shows Doctor Who and Broadchurch.
