Demi Moore helps roast ex-husband Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis' former spouse Demi Moore and their adult daughters Scout, Rumer and Tallulah Willis turned out for the taping of a roast of Willis in Los Angeles Saturday.

Deadline.com said Moore was a surprise guest who teased her ex-partner about his age, baldness, music, movie career and relationship skills in front of a crowd that included Willis' current wife, model Emma Heming.

"I look at our marriage like The Sixth Sense," TMZ quoted Moore as saying. "You were dead the whole time."

Moore was married to Willis 1987 through 2000. Willis and Heming tied the knot in 2009. They have two daughters -- Mabel, 6 and Evelyn, 4.

Also on hand to mercilessly mock the action movie star at the roast were his former castmates Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Edward Norton and Cybill Shepherd, as well as comedian Jeff Ross, basketball icon and television personality Dennis Rodman, and media mogul Martha Stewart.

The Comedy Central special is to air on July 29.

Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson to co-star in 'Zombieland 2'
Actors Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin are reuniting with director Ruben Fleischer for a sequel to the 2009 horror-comedy, Zombieland.

"This is one of those projects that fans have wanted to see happen for a long time - and no one wanted to see it happen more than Emma, Woody, Jesse and Abigail," Columbia Pictures President Sanford Panitch in a statement. "These are some of the most in-demand actors, and I think they are making this movie because they love these characters. We are thrilled Ruben was willing to come back to direct the sequel, as his work on Venom has been truly amazing."

The Hollywood Reporter said production is scheduled to start in January. The movie is being targeted for an October 2019 release.

Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who penned the original film, are writing the screenplay for the sequel, Deadline.com said.

Scarlett Johansson exits 'Rub & Tug' role after backlash
Scarlett Johansson has announced she will not play a transgender crime kingpin in the fact-based film Rub & Tug as planned.

"I have great admiration and love for the trans community and am grateful that the conversation regarding inclusivity in Hollywood continues," the actress wrote in a statement to Out magazine Friday. "While I would have loved the opportunity to bring Dante's story and transition to life, I understand why many feel he should be portrayed by a transgender person, and I am thankful that this casting debate, albeit controversial, has sparked a larger conversation about diversity and representation in film."

Variety said Johansson's casting was met with a backlash from trans groups and activists who said a trans actor and not a cisgender actress should have been cast in the role.

"Scarlett Johansson's announcement, together with the transgender voices who spoke out about this film, are game changers for the future of transgender images in Hollywood," GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said in a statement after Johansson quit the movie. "Hollywood changed how Americans understand gay and lesbian lives, and TV is starting to do the same for transgender people with authentic transgender portrayals being major hits with critics and audiences. The film industry has a real opportunity to do the same."

The project -- which is set in the 1970s and '80s -- would have reunited Johansson with her Ghost in the Shell director Rupert Sanders. It is unclear whether the film go forward without her.

Which wrestling icon has been re-added to the WWE Hall of Fame?

Professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame following a three-year suspension that was imposed after the living legend was fired over his use of racial slurs.

"This second chance follows Hogan's numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame," WWE said in a statement Sunday.

Hogan was backstage during WWE's pay-per-view event Extreme Rules on Sunday where he apologized to the main roster of superstars for his rant, Wrestling Observer reported. Some wrestlers were reported to have cheered for Hogan and congratulated him.

Hogan confirmed he had a meeting with the WWE roster on Twitter. "Just met with the @WWE Superstars and on all levels the volume of love and support was overwhelming. I've been praying for this day and I finally feel like I made it back home. Only Love 4 the #WWEUNIVERSE brother," he said.

Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, was fired from WWE in July 2015 after he was heard using racial slurs to describe his daughter Brooke's then beau in a 2012 sex tape. Hogan's name was taken away from the WWE website and he was no longer listed as a member of its Hall of Fame.
