Greetings Thrifty Friends,

The price of gasoline is going up again, in many places over $3-per-gallon. And gas one of those things we can't haggle. The guy behind the register is not going to give you ten percent off no matter what argument you give him. However, there are plenty of competing vendors you can go to, the trick is knowing what gas station has the best price without burning half a tank of gas (and half your day) driving all over town to save ten cents a gallon.

Get online before you hop into your car to fill up the tank on your way to or from work, and go to www.gasbuddy.com and find the station along your route that has the cheapest gas. Just enter your ZIP code and the most recent prices of the gas stations in your area pop up.
