'The Lego Movie 2' channels 'Mad Max' in first trailer
Bricksburg is now a post-apocalyptic wasteland like the one seen in Mad Max in the first trailer for upcoming animated sequel, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.

The clip, released Tuesday, features returning character Emmet (Chris Pratt) who despite having to deal with horrible living conditions, continues to have a positive outlook on life, much to the dismay of Lucy (Elizabeth Banks).

Original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are producing the sequel with Trolls helmer Mike Mitchell directing from a script by BoJack Horseman creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Mike Fogel.

Tiffany Haddish is also voicing a character in the film along with Channing Tatum as Superman and Jonah Hill as Green Lantern.
