Here's the Scoop...

What isn't Netflix doing? Ryan Reynolds will star in director-producer Michael Bay's action movie Six Underground, which is set for a Netflix release in 2019.

No details regarding the plot or additional castings were immediately available.

Slated to begin filming this summer, the project is based on an original idea from Reynolds' Deadpool and Deadpool 2 collaborators, writer-producers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

Netflix is producing Six Underground with Skydance Media, its partner on the comedy series Grace & Frankie.

"This marks the first collaboration between Skydance Media and Netflix for an event-level, feature film and the first Netflix project for both Michael Bay and Ryan Reynolds," a news release noted.

Bay is a filmmaker known for his work on the Transformers film franchise, as well as the blockbusters Bad Boys, Pearl Harbor and Armageddon.

I like 'The Rock' and 'The Island', but that's about it. I'm not really a Michael Bay fan. I like that Ryan Reynolds character though. Maybe I'll give it a chance.

Be Well,
Steve

Zachary Levi posts first image of 'Shazam!' costume
Zachary Levi posted on Instagram the first image that shows him in costume for DC's upcoming superhero epic, Shazam!

The actor is seen posing near a promotional image of himself as the titular hero enjoying a soft drink. In the promo photo, Levi dons the character's signature bright red costume complete with a white cape and yellow-lightening chest piece.

"This! This is what dreams are made of. Complete and total wish fulfillment, plus a beverage! All the squeees. #LicensingShowLasVegas #SHAZAMmovie #FirstLook?" Levi said.

Shazam, in the pages of DC Comics, is young Billy Batson who can become an adult superhero by saying the word "Shazam" after he meets a powerful wizard.

The film, from director David F. Sandberg (Annabelle: Creation), is also set to star Asher Angel as the younger Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Billy's best friend Freddy and Mark Strong as the villainous Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

Shazam! is set to arrive in theaters on April 5, 2019.

"In Billy Batson's case, by shouting out one word -- Shazam! -- this streetwise, 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult superhero Shazam, courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart -- inside a ripped, godlike body -- Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he'll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana," the synopsis reads.

'Grey's Anatomy': Kim Raver to return as series regular
Kim Raver will return as a series regular on Grey's Anatomy.

The 49-year-old actress said in a tweet Monday that she's "so excited" to reprise Teddy Altman in Season 15 of the ABC series.

"So excited! Feel so blessed to continue Teddy's story!" she wrote, retweeting an article about the news.

ABC announced Raver's return Monday following her appearance on the Season 14 finale last week. The episode saw Teddy named interim chief of surgery during Miranda Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) sabbatical.

"I am thrilled to reprise the role of Dr. Teddy Altman as a regular," Raver said in a statement. "Returning to Shondaland with the incredibly talented Krista Vernoff, Ellen Pompeo and the amazing cast is heavenly."

"I have a special place in my heart for Teddy and feel very lucky to have the opportunity to continue her story," she added.

Raver originally played Teddy in Seasons 6 through 8 of Grey's Anatomy, and appeared in five episodes of Season 14. Her return follows the exits of Sarah Drew and Jessica Chapman, who portrayed April Kepner and Arizona Robbins, in the Season 14 finale.

Grey's Anatomy will return for a 15th season in the fall.

'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' renewed for third season
Amazon has renewed its 1950s set drama-comedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel from creator Amy Sherman-Palladino for a third season.

Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke confirmed the third season renewal after Sherman-Palladino pressed Amazon about the show's future while accepting a Peabody Award for the series on Saturday.

"You're going to give it to us because we're bringing home the fancy thing, right?" Sherman-Palladino said onstage.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, set in 1950s New York, stars Rachel Brosnahan as a mother of two who enters into the world of standup comedy after her marriage falls apart. Michael Zegen, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle also star.

The series received a two-season order from Amazon in April 2017. Season 2 is set to premiere on Amazon's streaming service later this year.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel won two Golden Globe awards in January, including Best Comedy Series and Lead Comedy Actress for Brosnahan.

Sherman-Palladino is also the creator and showrunner of Gilmore Girls.

Which singer pranked Jimmy Kimmel with a 'Wrecking Ball' wake up?

Miley Cyrus came in like a "Wrecking Ball" to Jimmy Kimmel's bedroom to prank the late night host with a music-filled wake-up call.

The singer, accompanied by a crew of backup dancers dressed like construction workers, sneaked into Kimmel's house with help from his wife Molly McNearney and performed her hit 2013 single inside his bedroom.

A groggy and confused Kimmel looked on as Cyrus jumped on top of his bed with a sledgehammer and fake rocks alongside someone dressed up as a wrecking ball. Cyrus also accidentally hit Kimmel with the sledgehammer below the belt.

The prank is the third time a singer has performed inside Kimmel's bedroom while he was sleeping, following Rihanna in 2015 and Britney Spears in 2016.

"How many times is this gonna happen?" Kimmel asked Cyrus.
