Zoe Saldana gets star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Actor Zoe Saldana was honored with the 2,637th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday.

Saldana, who most recently starred as Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War, received the 2,637th star on the Walk of Fame during a ceremony in Los Angeles. She was joined by her husband, Marco Perego, and their three sons, Bowie, Cy and Zen.

"It's been a long journey, a gradual, hard-walked journey and it's certainly not over yet, but I'm loving every minute of it," Saldana said of her career.

Saldana made her television debut in 1999 on an episode of Law & Order and her first film, Center Stage, was released in 2000.

"I admire you as a person, a wife, a sister, a mother a businesswoman and as an actress," said actor Mila Kunis, who starred alongside Saldana in 2007's After Sex. "While the world knows you for the characters you have played, I have the privilege of knowing the working mom behind the scenes."

Saldana has starred in a number of films, including Crossroads, Drumline, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and The Terminal before being cast as Uhura in 2009's Star Trek, a role she reprised in 2013's Star Trek Into Darkness and 2016's Star Trek Beyond.

Also in 2009, Saldana starred as Neytiri in James Cameron's Avatar.

"Her iconic characters Uhura, Neytiri and Gamora are role models for young women," Cameron said. "These are women of courage, intelligence and integrity, they're women that are unbowed and authentic and stand for something."

Conan O'Brien's TBS talk show changing to half-hour format
Conan O'Brien will be introducing a new half-hour format to his latenight TBS talk show Conan, starting in January 2019.

O'Brien said the change will allow him to focus more on digital content and help him modernize the late-night talk show format, which traditionally involves hour-long episodes that feature multiple celebrity interviews.

O'Brien will also spend more time focusing on other ventures with TBS, including a live stand-up tour featuring emerging comedians and turning Conan segment Clueless Gamer into its own series. The 55-year-old also plans on launching a website that will allow fans to view his entire Late Night run from his time on NBC.

"Since I inherited my Late Night show in 1993, TV has changed exponentially. I'd like to think I have evolved with many of these changes, but now it's time to take the next leap," O'Brien said in a statement. "A half-hour show will give me the time to do a higher percentage of the comedy in, and out, of the studio that I love and that seems to resonate in this new digital world. It's still going to be me hosting a very silly show, but I want segments on my half-hour program to link to digital content, deepening the experience for my younger fans, and confusing my older ones."

O'Brien said that the changes coming to Conan are not radical ones in an interview with Variety.

"This is not, 'Tune in, you're going to see a whole new Conan with a shaved head and an eye patch and a falcon on his shoulder,"' he said. "This is going to be me doing comedy as you've seen me doing, and an interview, probably, with a celebrity every night instead of two or three. Everything else beyond that we're going to find it by doing it."

O'Brien signed a new deal with TBS in May 2017 that keeps Conan on the air through 2022.

Tim Allen teases possible return of 'Last Man Standing'
Tim Allen hinted on Twitter Thursday that a fan campaign to revive his canceled family sitcom Last Man Standing has been successful.

"They heard all your voices people!! LMS just might be a reality. Keep it up. Who wants more #LastManStanding?" Allen tweeted.

Allen said last year he was blindsided by ABC's decision to cancel his show after six seasons, despite its good ratings and loyal fan base. The series remains popular in re-runs on CMT and WGN America, and supporters have circulated petitions in an effort to persuade various networks to make fresh episodes.

The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday Fox is in early talks to bring the show back for a seventh season. While Allen is committed to star, the network is now talking to the other LMS cast members to see if they will return.

The series is about a conservative, church-going Colorado man who is married with three adult daughters and in charge of marketing for a chain of outdoor, sporting-goods outlets. It co-starred Nancy Travis as his wife and Hector Elizondo as the stores' owner. The ensemble also included Amanda Fuller, Molly Ephraim, Kaitlyn Dever and Christoph Sanders.

"We didn't design it like this, like we are different from everybody else, but Last Man Standing, in syndication now, it can go anywhere. It can be at 6 o'clock. It's family friendly. We're not holier than thou who did it this way, but it is a very different situation when you have a show that the whole family can watch together," Allen told UPI in a 2016 phone interview. "And I really like that we're doing this."

ABC's Channing Dungey said in 2017 she canceled the show because she decided to get rid of the network's Friday night comedy lineup.

"A large part of these jobs are managing failure and we've made the tough calls and canceled shows that we'd otherwise love to stay on the air," Dungey said. "That's the job. I canceled Last Man Standing for the same business and scheduling reasons that I canceled Dr. Ken, The Real O'Neals, The Catch and American Crime. And Last Man Standing was a challenging one for me because it was a steady performer in the ratings, but once we made the decision not to continue with comedies on Fridays, that was where we landed."

Sebastian Stan on Tom Hiddleston dating Taylor Swift: 'I was really worried'
Sebastian Stan says he was "really worried" about Tom Hiddleston dating Taylor Swift.

The 35-year-old actor said on Thursday's episode of Watch What Happens Live that he had "extreme concern" for Hiddleston, his Avengers: Infinity War co-star, during the actor's romance with Swift.

"It was one of awe and extreme concern, obsession and yet at the same time -- I want the word," he said of his reaction to the highly-publicized fling. "I don't know, I was really worried, mainly for him."

Stan said he had forgotten about the short-lived romance until it was brought up on the show.

"You know, love is quick and hard," he remarked.

Hiddleston and Swift split in September 2016 after a few months of dating. Hiddleston said in the March 2017 issue of GQ he was surprised the relationship received so much attention and scrutiny.

"Taylor is an amazing woman. She's generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time," the actor told the magazine. "Of course it was real."

"I have to be so psychologically strong about not letting other people's interpretations about my life affect my life," he added. "A relationship exists between two people. We will always know what it was."

Stan and Hiddleston play the Winter Soldier and Loki in Avengers: Infinity War, which opened in theaters last week. The cast, including Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch and Scarlett Johansson, read mean tweets on Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
