Prince Harry, Meghan Markle want charity aid, not wedding gifts
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would like charity aid instead of wedding gifts.

The 33-year-old British royal and 36-year-old American actress requested in a tweet Monday that well-wishers support their charities of choice instead of sending presents.

"Prince Harry & Ms. Meghan Markle are incredibly grateful for the goodwill they have received since their engagement, & have asked that anyone who might want to mark the occasion of their wedding considers giving to charity, instead of sending a gift," Kensington Palace wrote.

"The couple have personally chosen 7 charities which represent a range of issues that they are passionate about, including sport for social change, women's empowerment, conservation, the environment, homelessness, HIV and the Armed Forces," the palace added.

Prince Harry and Markle suggested Children's HIV Association (CHIVA), Crisis, the Myna Mahila Foundation, Scotty's Little Soldiers, Street Games, Surfers Against Sewage and the Wilderness Foundation.

"[Myna Mahila] empowers women in Mumbai's slums by providing them with a trusted network, stable employment & the chance to grow as individuals & businesswomen, and breaks taboos against menstrual hygiene," Kensington Palace tweeted.

"Also selected is @StreetGames, a charity which uses sport to empower young people to kick-start a cycle of positive change in their own lives. Prince Harry and Ms. Markle visited one of the charity's projects together in Cardiff earlier this year," the palace added.

Prince Harry and Markle will marry May 19 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. The couple support a number of charities and other organizations, including the Invictus Games, which Prince Harry founded in 2014.

Han is warned to 'assume everyone will betray you' in 2nd 'Solo' trailer
Disney/Lucasfilm released its second trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story Sunday.

Written by Lawrence and Jonathan Kasdan and directed by Ron Howard, Solo is the origins story of smuggler Han Solo, the resourceful smuggler Harrison Ford played in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

Starring Alden Ehrenreich as a younger version of the wise-cracking hero, the latest chapter in the franchise is set for a worldwide release May 25 after a Cannes Film Festival premiere. Solo will also feature Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke and Donald Glover.

This weekend's 2 1/2-minute preview features Han and his Wookiee sidekick Chewbacca [played by Joonas Suotamo] flying their iconic spaceship, the Millennium Falcon. It also shows Han meeting Glover's Lando Calrissian, who was first played in the Star Wars universe by actor Billy Dee Williams.

Here, Lando boasts to Han that "everything you've heard about me is true."

Clarke's new character Qi'ra tells Han he looks good -- a "little rough around the edges, but good" -- and suggests he is "after something."

"Is it revenge? Money? Or is it something else?" she wonders.

Harrelson's Tobias Beckett tells Han he's "heard about a job."

"A big-shot gangster's putting together a crew," Tobias says.

"I'm a driver, I'm a flyer," Han tells him. "I've waited a long time for a shot like this."

Han asks Chewie -- who is revealed in the trailer to be 190 years old -- what he thinks about his plans and the Wookiee shakes his head and makes his signature sound of complaint.

"Well, what do you know?" Han brushes him off.

"Assume everyone will betray you and you will never be disappointed," Tobias later warns.

Han ultimately dies at the hands of his adult son in The Force Awakens.

LOOSE LIPS:
"I've waited my whole life for this. I just can't. I'm already so emotional and so excited... I've been dreaming about our baby."
--John Stamos, on fatherhood at 54, to Entertainment Tonight

Kate Hudson pregnant with third child -- a girl
Almost Famous and Deepwater Horizon actress Kate Hudson announced via Instagram she is pregnant with her third child.

"If you've wondered why I've been so absent on my social channels it's because I have never been more sick! It was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food instagrams make me queezy and thinking too much about insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been," she explained in Friday's post.

"If you've seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing...I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I'm a poppin now! And it's too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way."

Hudson, 38, also shared a gender-reveal video of her; her boyfriend, musician Danny Fujikawa; and her two sons popping giant black balloons in a backyard to reveal pink confetti and smaller balloons. The clip got more than 4 million views in less than a day.

The actress is the daughter of comedy icon Goldie Hawn and the stepdaughter of actor Kurt Russell. Hudson is also the mother of Ryder, her 14-year-old son with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham, her 6-year-old son with her former fiance Matt Bellamy. Fujikawa and Hudson were longtime friends before they began dating about a year ago.
