Here's the Scoop...

With superhero movies, arguably, at their saturation point I'm still looking forward to Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and - MOST OF ALL - Deadpool 2! It jumper up in the rotation after the latest, very Not-Safe-For-Work trailer dropped on Thursday.

Ryan Reynolds released a new trailer for Deadpool 2 on Twitter, featuring the actor taking on Josh Brolin's time-traveling mutant Cable.

The action-packed clip depicts Deadpool and Cable coming to blows as they fight for control of a young boy played by Julian Denison of Hunt For The Wilderpeople fame.

Deadpool then seeks help and assembles a team of super-powered mutants he refers to as X-Force that includes Zazie Beetz as Domino, Brianna Hildebrand returning as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and a character played by Terry Crews.

"Deadpool 2. Falling somewhere between The Godfather 2 and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights," Reynolds said on Twitter in reference to movie sequels that have both succeeded and failed.

Deadpool 2, from director David Leitch, is set to arrive in theaters on May 18.

Trailers are hit and miss these days. They either bait-and-switch the audience or they give the entire movie away, soup to nuts. It's nice to see an entertaining trailer for a movie that's going to guarantee enjoyment for all that buy a ticket. I'm going May 18th to see Deadpool!

Sarah Hyland says doctors won't listen to her 'chronic pain' concerns
Sarah Hyland says doctors won't listen to her concerns about "chronic pain."

The 27-year-old actress vented frustration in a tweet Wednesday that doctors are "not listening" to her complaints about ongoing health issues.

"For those who are chronically ill and in chronic pain: Have you had the experience of doctors not listening to you? If so, how do you not tear their heads off with your bare hands? :)," she wrote.

Hyland didn't specify her issues, but appeared to be resting and recovering in a photo on Instagram Stories. The picture shows the star relaxing at home with her dog.

"My life for the next 6 to 8 weeks. I'm ok with it," she wrote.

Hyland has previously spoken about her battle with kidney dysplasia, which required her to undergo a kidney transplant in 2012. She said in May 2017 that her much-discussed weight loss was due to her being put on bed rest for months.

"My circumstances have put me in a place where I'm not in control of what my body looks like. So I strive to be as healthy as possible, as everyone should," the actress said.

Hyland is known for playing Haley Dunphy on the ABC series Modern Family. The show co-stars Ariel Winter, who supported boyfriend Levi Meaden the Los Angeles premiere of Pacific Rim Uprising on Wednesday.

Bruce Springsteen extends Broadway show until December
Bruce Springsteen's one-man show Springsteen on Broadway has added 81 additional performances, extending his stay at the Walter Kerr Theatre until Dec. 15.

The extra dates will begin July 10 with tickets going on sale March 29 at 11 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program.

Only fans who previously registered for the sale but haven't purchased tickets will be eligible to receive an invitation to the sale due to high demand. A digital lottery will also be held through Lucky Seat for those interested in buying tickets after the initial sale.

This marks the third extension for Springsteen on Broadway following its initial eight-week run in October. The second leg of the music icon's New York residency ends on June 30.

"My vision of these shows is to make them as personal and intimate as possible. I chose Broadway for this project because it has the beautiful old theaters which seemed like the right setting for what I have in mind. In fact, with one or two exceptions, the 960 seats of the Walter Kerr Theatre is probably the smallest venue I've played in the last 40 years. My show is just me, the guitar, the piano and the words and music. Some of the show is spoken, some of it is sung, all of it together is in pursuit of my constant goal-to communicate something of value," Springsteen previously said in a statement about the show.

Which actor has been tapped to play Sheldon's brother on 'The Big Bang Theory'?

Jerry O'Connell will play Sheldon's brother on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

The 44-year-old actor will portray an older version of George "Georgie" Cooper, Jr., who is played by Montana Jordan on the show's spinoff prequel series, Young Sheldon.

The Big Bang Theory confirmed O'Connell's casting on its official Twitter account Wednesday after producers announced the news at PaleyFest in Los Angeles.

"Breaking casting announcement: Sheldon's (adult) brother Georgie is going to be played by @MrJerryOC! #BigBangTheory #PaleyFest," the tweet reads.

O'Connell's Georgie will appear in a May episode that will feature Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy Fowler's (Mayim Bialik) wedding, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Entertainment Weekly said the episode will be the Season 11 finale.

Producers also said Laurie Metcalf, who portrays Sheldon's mom on Young Sheldon, will appear as Mary Cooper in the same episode.

"It was important for us," showrunner Steve Holland said.

The Big Bang Theory co-stars Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar. O'Connell is known for playing Det. Woody Hoyt on Crossing Jordan and Pete Kaczmarek on The Defenders.
