Psalm 34:14

Seek peace and pursue it.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Last week we started talking about God's will for specifics in our lives. I had told you that I cannot tell you what to do in individual circumstances, such as 'should I marry so and so?' I urged you to go to God in prayer. I gave you Colossians 3:15 as the scripture for the day, which states, "let the peace of God rule in your hearts." If you pray about doing something and do not have a peace about it, that may be God telling you not to do it. If you pray about not doing something, and yet cannot get a feeling of peace about not doing it, maybe God is urging you to do it?

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Peace rules the day when Christ rules the mind.

--FEATURED POEM:

Peace does not mean the end of all our striving;
Joy does not mean the drying of our tears;
Peace is the power that comes to souls arriving
Up to the light where God Himself appears.

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. Where was Jesus when he spoke of his departure from the world as follows, "I am going away and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come."?

A. In the treasury, as he taught in the temple.

These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.

Then Jesus said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come."

John 8:20-21
