Hello Music lovers,
Sometimes it’s hard to remember that David Bowie is no longer with us. I was quite touched to see Elon Musk launch a Starman with Bowies iconic song, Space Oddity playing in the background. I mean think about it, that Tesla car is orbiting our globe! Its crazy.
My favorite might still be The Man Who Sold The World, made extra famous by Nirvanas MTV Unplugged performance. Here is a cover utilizing a traditional Korean stringed instrument, the Gayageum.
Luna Lee is famous for her arrangements of popular rock songs on this little-known instrument, and she has quite the following on YouTube. Check it out!
By the way, if anyone has trouble watching the video on your smartphone, just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and hit the "View Full Site" in the footer. Should clear it right up :)
The Man Who Sold The World - Gayageum Cover
This one goes out to Mr. David Bowie himself - a cover off his 3rd album in 1970 by the talented Luna Lee.
