Hello Video Lovers,

Rodney Dangerfield may have cut his movie teeth on 'Caddyshack' in 1980, but he proved that he could carry a feature film with 'Easy Money' in 1983. For a relatively low budget film it made it to number one at the domestic box office, toppling the prior three-week #1 run of National Lampoon's Vacation.

In this scene Rodney, or Monty as his character is called, sings 'Funiculi, Funicula' at his daughter's wedding reception. Of course, he is singing the English lyrics. The Italian original was written in 1880 to commemorate the opening of the first funicular cable car on Mount Vesuvius.
