Stan Lee 'feeling great' after hospitalization
Stan Lee was taken to the hospital on Wednesday but is now "feeling great," the Marvel maestro said in an interview Thursday night.

Lee, 95, told ABC 7-TV that he checked himself into Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles because he thought it "wouldn't be bad for me."

"In fact, it turned out to be pretty good. It got me a lot of publicity," Lee said. "I didn't realize the whole world worried about whether I was in the hospital or not."

TMZ reported on Thursday evening that Lee went to the hospital for an irregular heartbeat and shortness of breath.

A rep told the Hollywood Reporter that it appeared Lee might have to stay in the hospital for several days, but doctors found no reason to keep him after one night.

Although Lee joked about his hospitalization getting a great deal of attention, he said it reminded him of how appreciative he is for his fans.

"It's nice to know that somewhere in the world there are still people who care about what I say or do," he said. "And it's nice to know that somewhere in the world there are always people who are fans who care about what people do -- the people they're interested in. And I think having fans is one of the greatest things. I can never say how grateful I am for it."

'Modern Family' star Julie Bowen separates from husband
Modern Family star Julie Bowen and her husband are calling it quits.

People confirmed Thursday that the 47-year-old actress and Scott Phillips, a real estate investor, have separated after 13 years of marriage.

Bowen and Phillips' relationship had been "on the rocks for some time," according to TMZ. News of the split follows reports in December that the couple were "living separate lives."

Bowen and Phillips, who share 10-year-old Oliver and 8-year-old twins John and Gustav, were last photographed together at a Harlem Globetrotters game with their kids in February 2017. The actress previously joked that she and Phillips were "too tired" to divorce.

"We watch all these people get married and split up and go, 'Wait, did they get married after us or before us?'" she told Us Weekly in September 2016. "We outlast all these people. The answer: We're too tired to do anything else!"

Bowen plays Claire Dunphy on Modern Family, which returned for a ninth season on ABC in September. The series co-stars Ty Burrell, Ed O'Neill, Sofia Vergara, Sarah Hyland and Ariel Winter.

LOOSE LIPS:
"I don't know how to respond to it, because I'm not like him... They probably think I'm just really weird, which I'm fine with."

Hailee Steinfeld played 'matchmaker' for Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas
Hailee Steinfeld played "matchmaker" for celebrity couple Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas.

The 21-year-old singer and actress said on Wednesday's episode of the Smallzy's Surgery radio show that she encouraged the Game of Thrones star to date Jonas.

"Oh yeah," she said when asked if she takes credit for the pairing. "I did get that text from Sophie saying, 'So tell me about Joe.' I was like, 'Go for it!'"

Turner and Jonas were first linked in October 2016, and announced their engagement the following October.

"I actually just saw them both for the first time since they got engaged," Steinfeld said. "I'm freaking out about it."

Steinfeld is close pals with Turner, and collaborated with Jonas and his band, DNCE, on the single "Rock Bottom." Steinfeld and Turner became friends after working together on the 2015 movie Barely Lethal.

"When I met Hailee, she like ran over and gave me the biggest hug and said, 'I'm so excited to work with you!' And I was like okay, I'm going to get along with her," Turner said in a 2015 interview with Who What Wear.

Steinfeld released her debut EP, Haiz, in November 2015, and will next star in the Transformers spinoff Bumblebee: The Movie.

??? Guess Who ???

Which former 'Grey's Anatomy' actress will join 'Suits' for Season 8?

Emmy winner Katherine Heigl has landed a lead role for Season 8 of USA Network's Suits, following the departures of series regulars Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle.

Heigl will act alongside Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman and Dulé Hill. Her character, Samantha Wheeler, was described in a news release as "a talented new partner at Pearson Specter Litt who challenges the status quo and will either become the firm's greatest ally ... or most powerful enemy."

Season 8 is to begin production April in Toronto.

"Joining Suits was the perfect organic way to not only collaborate with an executive producer I admire deeply, but to also become part of a show and cast that I am an immense fan of," Heigl said in a statement Wednesday. "I have watched Suits from the very beginning and feel incredibly lucky to be the newest member of the Pearson Specter Litt family."

"On behalf of the entire Suits team, I am extraordinarily excited to welcome Katherine Heigl into our family -- I have always been a big fan of her work and was delighted to discover she was an avid Suits fan herself," added Aaron Korsh, creator and executive producer of Suits. "I cannot wait to have her come play with our entire cast and crew. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Harvey, Louis, Donna and Alex as the mysterious Samantha Wheeler is a direct threat to their status quo. One thing is for sure -- Samantha's wit, charm, loyalty, strength and vulnerability will all be put to the test as she muscles her way into the firm currently known as Pearson Specter Litt."

Heigl lives in Utah with her husband Josh Kelley and their three children. She also starred in the short-lived series Doubt and State of Affairs.
