*-- How To Wear Fashion Scarves --*
Every woman has at least a scarf or two lying around her home, just begging to be worn. While some women seem to flawlessly be able to toss and tie a scarf around their necks, there are some of us who are absolutely clueless and cannot seem to properly tie up a scarf if our life depended on it.
Fashion scarves are all the rage this season, and for a good reason. Tossing on a fashion scarf can turn even the most boring of outfits into a fantastic fashion statement. You can also find fashion scarves in a variety of patterns, styles, lengths and materials, so you can add a scarf to almost any piece of clothing you wear.
Did you know that fashion scarves can be worn in more places than just your neck? Try wearing a scarf as a shawl, around your head, or even around your waist as a belt. A fashion scarf around the waist will shrink in that waist and help create a trimmer appearance.
How to Tie a Fashion Scarf Around your Neck
If you want to add a bit more pizzazz to your outfit and don't care to have your scarf simply thrown around our neck, try using different sized scarves to create different appearances. Some women like to add a bit of sophistication and style by tying a scarf around their neck in a choker-style. To create this look, choose a smaller square scarf. Fold it two to three times, and wrap it around your neck. Make a small knot, and then turn the knot slightly to either the left side or the right side. To add a bit more style, you can add a scarf pin, a brooch, or a ring. Scarf clips and shell scarf holders are also quite popular.
If you prefer longer scarves, take a long oblong fashion scarf and hold it across the front of your neck. Then, bring one end around to fall down the front right hand side of your body. Bring the other end around your neck so that it falls down to the left side. This will give you a light, airy look and is perfect for those who are looking to add a bit of a more personalized and fashionable touch to their spring and summer outfits.
You can also choose to take one of these longer scarves and to have it simply drape over the front of your body for a more dramatic look.
Winter cashmere scarves are perfect for those chilly days. If worn properly, you can look both fashionable and keep warm at the same time! Take your cashmere scarf and fold it in half. Position the scarf around your neck so that the two ends fall on one side of your body, and then fold the scarf on the other side. Take the two loose ends and slip them right through the fold that you have created in the scarf. Pull the two ends to help tighten the scarf around your neck.
To really keep warm in the wintertime, you can also tuck those loose ends right into the front of your jacket.
