1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

I always loved the Hymn "O Beautiful For Spacious Skies." Part of it is as follows:

America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self control,
Thy liberty in law.

Is this not a prayer that can be applied to each of our lives? "Confirm my soul in self control."

God Bless You!

--FEATURED FUNNY:

One day my young daughter and I were listening to an old tune by Simon and Garfunkel. When the song finished, she asked me, "Well, did he?"

"Did he what?"

"Did Parsley save Rosemary in time?" she asked.

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. How much did the plot of ground cost?

A. One hundred pieces of silver.

The bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel had brought up out of Egypt, they buried at Shechem, in the plot of ground which Jacob had bought from the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for one hundred pieces of silver, and which had become an inheritance of the children of Joseph.
