Hello Music lovers,

My office deskmate Zack has been singing this song for months - it got stuck in his head one time and now he just brings it up out of nowhere. I wasnt familiar with it until he started belting it out after lunch one day I looked up the trippy video from 1986 and was thoroughly impressed!

The song is Peter Gabriels Sledgehammer, a dance-rock, soul track with synths and horns. The award-winning video is all stop-motion animation that looks like it took a long time to make. Gabriel later said that if anyone wanted to copy their idea for the video - good luck to them!

Highlights include a toy train set around his head and dancing featherless chickens. Ya gotta see em!
