Matthew 11:28-29

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Many people are weary--tired of the struggles of daily life. They wonder to themselves, "Where is the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus?" As we saw last week, we will have trials and tribulations in this life, but there is much comfort and strength in God's word. My encouragement to all of you, is to persevere in your walk with Christ. Remember Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble."

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

God does not always choose great people to accomplish what He wishes, but He chooses a person who is wholly yielded to Him.

-Henrietta C. Mears

--FEATURED POEM:

Sweet hour of prayer, sweet hour of prayer,
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Father's throne,
Make all my wants and wishes known;
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief,
And oft escaped the tempter's snare,
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer.

-William W. Walford
