Hello Everyone!

10dollars
Since I had to turn my furnace on this week, I'm featuring tips on how to save on your energy bill. Let's get straight to the first tip.

Get a humidifier to add moisture to the air. The air inside your home can become very dry. Moist air feels warmer and holds heat better, so a humidifier can help you feel comfortable when your thermostat is set at a lower temperature. You can also increase the humidity in your apartment with a collection of house plants.

Hint 1:

Fingerprints all over your stainless steel appliances? Put
a little baby oil on a clean, soft cloth, and run it over
the surfaces. Those prints should lift right off.

Handy Hint #2

Use window coverings to help insulate - Drapes can add an extra layer of insulation to windows. Blinds also can insulate, but they aren't... as effective. Keep your drapes closed at night and on sunny days, open the drapes and blinds to let in the sun's free heat, especially on the south side.
