Here's the Scoop...

I cannot believe all of sexual harassment stories that have been pouring in from all over the entertainment world. Once the Harvey Weinstein story broke, stars from James Van Der Beek, Rose McGowan, Terry Crews, Rosanna Arquette, and numerous other entertainment industry artists have come forward to share there stories.

I think we had a sense that things like this had been going on in Hollywood, but this is just shocking!

I just hope that this shows people that you have to speak up about being sexual harassed. Wrong is wrong! Don't stay silent.

Be Well,
Steve

Disney cancels 'Gigantic,' animated spin on 'Jack and the Beanstalk'
Walt Disney Animation Group has shut down a planned Jack and the Beanstalk animated film titled Gigantic.

The updated version of the fairytale starring a female giant was set to release in 2020 but has been canceled, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

"Sometimes, no matter how much we love an idea or how much heart goes into it, we find that it just isn't working," Walt Disney Animation Group president Ed Catmull said.

Gigantic was set to be directed by Tangled's Nathan Greno and Inside Out co-writer Meg LeFauve with music by Frozen songwriters Robert Lopez and Kirsten Anderson-Lopez.

The film, officially announced at the D23 convention in 2015, would have been set in Spain sometime between the 15th and 17th centuries as the protagonist, Jack, discovers a land full of giants.

"It's impossible to know when we begin a project how the creative process will unfold, and sometimes, no matter how much we love an idea or how much heart goes into it, we find that it just isn't working," Camull said. "With Gigantic, we've come to that point, and although it's a difficult decision, we are ending active development for now. We are focusing our energies on another project that has been in the works, which we'll be sharing more about soon, now set for Thanksgiving 2020."
