1 Corinthians 13:8-13

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, they that which is in part will be done away.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but them I shall know just I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

One of the purple passages in the Bible is this one:

"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three;
but the greatest of these is love."

It all boils down to this one thing, godly love. Whatever we do, we must search out our own motivation in doing it; if it is not for love, it comes to nothing. Godly love never fails.

God Bless You!

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What happened to Jeroboam's sick son after the wife's visit to the prophet Ahijah?

A. Then Jeroboam's wife arose and departed, and came to Tirzah. When she came to the threshold of the house, the child died.

1 Kings 14:17

Because of Jeroboam's evil ways, his young son died. While this was a great blow to Jeroboam, we can be confident that his son was brought into the care of his Creator. We can trust Him with the child's eternity.
