Ephesians 1:11-14

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being pre-destined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

My husband often expresses gratitude for the inheritance left him by his parents. It was not material, for they had no money and few possessions. Rather, it was spiritual, for they taught their boys the way in which they should go, that they would not stray from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

The lessons ran deep, resulting in two lives completely devoted to serving God, and determined to raise their families in the same way.

While a material inheritance can be wonderful, the greatest thing we can give our children is a spiritual foundation upon which they can build for the rest of their lives; one that will never run out!

God Bless You!
