Mark 9:33-37
Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house, He asked them, "What was it you disputed among yourselves on the road?" But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest.
And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, "If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all."
Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, "Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me."
Greetings Bible Enthusiast!
Ah, humility! It is something we all must have in this age of self-image, self-esteem, and self-improvement. Where is the balance between the two?
The answer lies in prayer. The Bible tells us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves (Mark 12:31), therefore, we must love ourselves as a creation of God. But Jesus said that true love also means being willing to lay down our lives for the sake of our brother.
We need to recognize our status as a child of God whose value lies in our acknowledgment of Him and our willingness to do His will. We can joyfully do that with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit, even when it means doing the work of a servant, as Jesus did.
God Bless You!

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:
Q. When did the believers in Samaria receive the Holy Spirit?
A. when Peter and John went to them
Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit.
For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
Acts 8:14-16
The believers in Samaria were first baptized by water in the name of the Lord Jesus, then they later received the Holy Spirit when Peter and John came and prayed for them.
