Here's the Scoop...

I can't wait to take my kids to a theme park! I just have to wait until they're old enough to right the rides and be able to really take-in and enjoy the full theme park experience. I'm sure my wife will want to wait until 2019 to visit Universal Studios Orlando Resort because there's a new Wizarding World of Harry Potter thrill ride is coming!

Universal Studios Orlando Resort has announced that a new Harry Potter-themed thrill ride will be coming to their popular Wizard World of Harry Potter theme park in 2019.

The new attraction will be located inside the Hogsmeade section of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter as part of Universal's Islands of Adventure.

"This all-new thrill ride will take you deeper into J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World, where you will encounter some of your favorite characters and creatures. It'll be unlike anything we've ever done before and it will be fun for the entire family," Universal Orlando noted on their blog before stating that the ride will be a coaster experience that is made in conjunction with Warner Bros. and the production team behind the Harry Potter film series.

The ride will be taking the place of the park's Dragon Challenge roller coaster which first debuted with the opening of Islands of Adventure in 1999 under the title Dueling Dragons. Dragon Challenge will be permanently closing starting on Sept. 5 to begin construction on the new Harry Potter ride.

In April, Universal Orlando announced a new Harry Potter Christmas celebration will be added to the park that will include the addition of Christmas decorations and festivities to both Wizarding World locations -- Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure and the newer Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida.

Are you excited, Harry Potter fans?

Be Well,
Steve

New James Bond film announced for 2019
The next installment in the James Bond franchise has been set to release on Nov. 8, 2019.

The 25th film in the series, studios EON Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer made the announcement Monday and said the cast and the project's director will be unveiled at a later date.

Neal Purvis and Robert Wade who have penned the last six Bond films starting with 1999's The World is Not Enough are handling the script. MGM and EON are still searching for a U.S. studio partner after Sony's four-picture deal with the franchise ended with the release of 2015's Spectre.

Daniel Craig, who has been portraying the iconic British spy since 2006 with Casino Royale, and who was last seen in Spectre, will return as Bond in the new film, the New York Times reported, citing sources.

Following the release of Spectre, Craig originally expressed interest in leaving the role behind, famously stating in an interview that he would rather "slash his wrists" than make another 007 film. The actor changed his tune however and stated he would be willing to return in October 2016 when he said, "Boo-hoo. It's a good gig. I enjoy it."

Rob Lowe's kids compete for 'Best Son' on 'Tonight Show'
Rob Lowe's kids went head-to-head in the "Best Son Challenge" during a visit to The Tonight Show this week.

Lowe, 53, appeared on Monday's episode of the NBC late-night talk show with his two sons, 23-year-old Matthew Edward and 21-year-old John Owen.

The "Best Son Challenge" saw Matthew and John play a version of The Newlywed Game where they answered questions about their dad. Host Jimmy Fallon asked what Lowe's favorite movie is, what Lowe would wish for from a genie, what makes Lowe laugh the hardest, and what Lowe's hidden talent is.

Matthew and John both correctly identified their dad's favorite movie as GoodFellas, but only Matthew guessed Lowe would wish "to live to be 100" or for "eternal life" from a genie. The game ended up tied after Lowe acknowledged John introduced him to what makes him laugh the hardest, the show Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule.

Lowe shares Matthew and John with his wife, makeup artist Sheryl Berkoff, whom he married in 1991. His sons playfully roasted him during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May.

"He's a manchild," John said of his dad. "He's a teenager trapped in a 53-year-old's body. One of the worst things is if I'm in a crowd and he's anywhere nearby, he will scream at the top of his lungs my least favorite nicknames. And they're really embarrassing!"

"I will beg him sometimes: 'Like, just let me run your social media. I will do it for free, happily,' and yet he continues to occasionally mortify us," he added. "He likes selfies a little too much."

LOOSE LIPS:
"I ain't paying money to always see one type of person on-screen. Because you see different people from different backgrounds, different cultures, every day."
