Here's the Scoop...

That Ryan Reynolds seems like a good dude.

Mr. Reynolds congratulated Wonder Woman on Instagram Wednesday for passing Deadpool at the North American box office.

"The Merc May Be Filthier, but Her B.O. is Stronger. Congrats #WonderWoman #BoxOfficeBoss," Reynolds captioned a photo that features Deadpool forming a heart with his hands over a gold chain of Wonder Woman's logo.

Reynolds shared the image after Wonder Woman grossed $369 million domestically, passing the $363 million Deadpool earned in 2016.

Wonder Woman is still chasing Deadpool's worldwide total, however, with Reynolds' film having reached $783 million compared to Wonder Woman's $746 million and counting.

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot reposted Reynolds' image on Instagram and added, "@vancityreynolds you're the best! Thank you for this.. love you and #Deadpool so much!"

Deadpool was a good movie. I haven't seen Wonder Woman, but I'm sure I will.

Be Well,
Steve

Ashton Kutcher denies cheating on Mila Kunis after new report
Ashton Kutcher slammed a new report this week that suggested he was cheating on wife Mila Kunis.

The 39-year-old actor spoke out Sunday after photos surfaced of him boarding a private plane with a "mystery" woman June 26 in Los Angeles.

"You should have heard how upset Mila was that I spent the day with our cousin. Sorry aunt Jodie these magazines lack integrity," he wrote to his 18.2 million Twitter followers.

Star magazine published pictures of Kutcher with the woman in its July 17 issue. The publication also revisited rumors Kutcher cheated on ex-wife Demi Moore on their sixth wedding anniversary in September 2011.

Kutcher and Moore split in November 2011, and finalized their divorce in 2013. The actor addressed his reported infidelity to Moore while accepting the 2017 Robert D. Ray Pillar of Character Award in April.

"[I'm] probably the first guy to get this award for character who had his name splashed across every gossip magazine as an adulterer, like, five years ago," he said in his speech.

"Character comes when those magazines tear you apart for something you may or may not have done and you gotta go out and perform tomorrow with everyone looking at you like you might be an adulterer," the star added.

Kutcher and Kunis married in July 2015, and share 2-year-old daughter Wyatt and 7-month-old son Dimitri. The actor said in an interview with The Howard Stern Show in June that his romance with Kunis was "weird and fast."

'Suicide Squad 2': Jaume Collet-Serra in talks to direct
Filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra is being eyed by Warner Bros. to direct a sequel to their supervillain ensemble film, Suicide Squad.

Collet-Serra is the front-runner to helm Suicide Squad 2 as the studio wanted someone new behind the camera in place of David Ayer who directed the original, Variety reported.

In February, Mel Gibson was in talks to direct with sources stating that the 61-year-old was familiarizing himself with the material.

Collet-Serra is best known for directing 2009 thriller Orphan, Non-Stop starring Liam Neeson in 2014 and shark movie The Shallows with Blake Lively in 2016.

Collet-Serra recently became attached to drama Waco with a script by Zero Dark Thirty's Mark Boal and Kubo and the Two Strings' Marc Haimes, Deadline reported.

Released in August 2016, Suicide Squad, starring Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker, followed a band of criminals who team up to do the government's dirty work in exchange for lighter sentences. Panned by critics, the film was still a financial success grossing $745 million worldwide.

Ayer has since moved onto developing Gotham City Sirens, which would bring back Robbie as Harley Quinn alongside fellow Batman villains Catwoman and Poison Ivy.

Quentin Tarantino's next film to explore the Manson Family murders
Quentin Tarantino is developing a new film that will feature the Manson Family murders that took place in 1969.

The filmmaker, who has penned the script and will direct the film, is looking to bring A-list stars Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lawrence into the project, noted The Hollywood Reporter. Pitt previously worked with Tarantino in 2009's Inglorious Basterds.

Producers Harvey and Bob Weinstein, who have worked with Tarantino on a number of his previous films, are also involved.

The Manson Family murders involved cult leader and criminal Charles Manson who ordered a group of his followers to attack a house located in Los Angeles. The group murdered everyone present at the residence including actress Sharon Tate who was eight months pregnant.

It is unknown how Tarantino's film will tackle the subject matter or if it will be a historical retelling. The director last released western The Hateful Eight starring Kurt Russell and Samuel L. Jackson in 2015.
