Here's the Scoop...

I am so excited! The internet is all ablaze with the 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' teaser.

Season 9 of Larry David's comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm got a trailer and premiere date Monday.

"He Left. He Did Nothing. He Returned," reads the message that accompanies the 30-second preview clip on YouTube.

The announcement video showed David dressed as an ancient Roman in a white robe with a crown of laurel leaves on his head. It revealed his mockumentary would return to HBO with fresh episodes on Oct. 1.

Season 8 aired back in 2011.

I can't wait to laugh, cringe and champion Larry David and his brutal honesty, misguided and unflinching views of the world. Bring it on, L.D.!

Be Well,
Steve

Nelsan Ellis' addiction to drugs and alcohol led to his death, family says
Nelsan Ellis' family is offering more details regarding the True Blood icon's unexpected death from heart failure during the weekend.

"Nelsan has suffered with drug and alcohol abuse for years. After many stints in rehab, Nelsan attempted to withdraw from alcohol on his own. According to his father, during his withdrawal from alcohol he had a blood infection, his kidneys shut down, his liver was swollen, his blood pressure plummeted, and his dear sweet heart raced out of control," his loved ones said in a statement released by his manager to The Hollywood Reporter Monday.

"On the morning of Saturday July 8, after four days in Woodhull Hospital, Nelsan was pronounced dead. Nelsan was a gentle, generous and kind soul. He was a father, a son, a grandson, a brother, a nephew, and a great friend to those that were lucky enough to know him. Nelsan was ashamed of his addiction and thus was reluctant to talk about it during his life. His family, however, believes that in death he would want his life to serve as a cautionary tale in an attempt to help others."

Ellis' film credits include The Soloist, The Butler and Get on Up. He also recently co-starred on the detective drama, Elementary.

"We were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Nelsan Ellis," HBO said in a statement to People magazine Saturday. "Nelsan was a long-time member of the HBO family whose groundbreaking portrayal of Lafayette will be remembered fondly within the overall legacy of True Blood. Nelsan will be dearly missed by his fans and all of us at HBO."

Patton Oswalt responds to critics of recent engagement
Patton Oswalt has responded to critics of his recent engagement to actress Meredith Salenger on Facebook by sharing a blog written in his defense.

"This is so amazing. And SO well-written," the actor wrote on Saturday alongside a link to a blog written by Erica Roman titled "A Widow's Rage Defense Against Patton Oswalt's Engagement."

"I expected some bitter grub worms to weigh in (anonymously, always always always) with their much-needed opinions when I announced my engagement last week. And I decided to ignore them," Oswalt continued.

"But yeah, I felt this rage. And Erica articulated it better than I could have ever hoped. So there you go. Thank you, Erica."

In the blog post, Roman congratulated Oswalt and said "ignorant, judgement" trolls were not entitled to an opinion.

Oswalt became engaged to Salenger on Thursday following the death of his wife, writer Michelle McNamara in April 2016. Oswalt shared a daughter, 8-year-old Alice with McNamara.

"It's official. I'm the luckiest happiest girl in the universe!!!! I love you @pattonoswalt I love you Alice Oswalt!" Salenger wrote on Twitter at the time.

Blac Chyna says Rob Kardashian was 'violent,' threatened suicide
Blac Chyna is "terrified" of ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian because of what she said is his "violent" and suicidal behavior.

The 29-year-old model was granted a temporary restraining order against Kardashian on Monday after alleging the 30-year-old reality star was abusive, in addition to posting explicit photos of her online.

"Rob has been violent with me in the past," Blac Chyna wrote in court documents, according to the Los Angeles Times. She claimed Kardashian attacked her during an altercation at her home April 8.

"[He] grabbed my phone and punched me in the side knocking me to the ground where I landed on my hands and knees," the model said.

"I had difficulty walking after that," she added, according to Us Weekly. "I went to my bedroom and locked the door. Rob was so out of control that he broke the hinges off my door."

Blac Chyna also said Kardashian has threatened to "kill himself multiple times in text messages" since their split. The former couple, who share 8-month-old daughter Dream, broke up in December after getting engaged in April 2016.

"I would first and foremost like to thank the judge for granting me this restraining order to protect me and I am now just going to go back to co-parenting Dream," Blac Chyna told reporters after appearing in court Monday.

Blac Chyna said on Monday's episode of Good Morning America that she was "devastated" after Kardashian shared naked photos of her July 5 on Instagram. Kardashian posted the private pictures after accusing Blac Chyna of cheating.
