*-- 3 Easy Ways to Get Rid of Dry, Dark Elbow Patches --*

In the summer and the winter, dry skin is a given. Dry elbows though can be a problem all year round! I've found some easy ways to get rid of dry, dark elbow patches! Keep in mind, these recipes can be used all over your body as well.

1. Olive Oil and Sugar

This combination is very effective for skin moisturizing and pilling!

-Combine 1 tbsp of sugar and enough olive oil to make the mixture moist. (You will still have some sugar grains in it)
-Massage your elbows as well as other parts dry, hard parts of your skin with this mixture
-Do this for 5 minutes, then wash your hands and skin with warm water and soap, or a shower gel

2. Shea Butter or Coconut Oil

These lotions are a staple when it comes to a solution for dry skin!

-Massage Shea Butter or Coconut Oil every night before bed
-Rub it in well on the areas needed
-Leave it on overnight
-Repeat this process every night until your skin softens

3. Turmeric Milk

This is a skin-friendly spice that helps with both skin protection and hydration.

-Mix one turmeric powder and some milk to get a thick paste
-Rub the past into your elbows (or any other dry spots) and leave it on for 5 minutes
-Wash the applied area with soap and water
