Here's the Scoop...

Any Godzilla fans out there?! Shooting has begun on the 'Godzilla' sequel.

Principal photography began Monday on the next installment in Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' cinematic MonsterVerse.

The as-yet-untitled followup to 2014's Godzilla and this year's Kong: Skull Island stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi.

Michael Dougherty is directing the picture from a script he penned with Zach Shields.

"The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah," a press release said. "When these ancient super-species -- thought to be mere myths -- rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance."

Hopefully, this sequel will be much better than its predecessor. The 2014 Godzilla was very not good.

Be Well,
Steve

Actor Miles Teller was arrested Sunday in San Diego for public intoxication.

The Divergent star was approached by police after he was seen having trouble keeping his balance, Billy Hernandez, a spokesperson for the San Diego Police Department said to People magazine.

Teller was offered to sleep it off inside a detox center however the 30-year-old refused.

"He was taken to the detox center where he was uncooperative and the staff rejected him. He was then arrested and transported to the local jail where he was booked," Hernandez said. Teller was later released.

On Twitter Monday, Teller dismissed reports that he had been arrested writing, "Went down to SD to see my buddy before he deployed. I wasn't arrested I was detained bc there was no evidence to charge me with a crime."

"Don't believe everything you read, especially from a third party entertainment news source trying to get clicks. Appreciate the concern," he continued.

Which former 'Taxi' cast member will star in the Netflix series 'The Good Cop'?

Who's the Boss and Taxi alum Tony Danza has signed on to star in The Good Cop, a 10-episode dramedy series on Netflix.

The show follows a father and son with links to the New York Police Department -- and very different personalities. Danza will play the dad. Casting for the the younger lead has not yet been announced.

"We're excited to bring viewers the return of Tony Danza, one of television's most beloved icons," Cindy Holland, vice president of original content for Netflix, said in a statement Monday. "The Good Cop is a funny, charming procedural series that we think our members will love."

"Many cop shows feature dark and provocative material: psycho-sexual killers, twisted, grim, flawed detectives. Many address the most controversial issues of the day. I watch a lot of them. God bless 'em all. But the show I want to produce is playful, family-friendly, and a celebration of old-fashioned puzzle-solving," added show creator Andy Beckman.
