Ephesians 3:14-19

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;

that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fulness of God.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

How can we know the meaning of a particular word or phrase when it can have more than one meaning? The answer is by the context in which the word or phrase appears. For example, my children get a thrill out of knowing that "hot" and "cool" can mean the same thing when used in certain contexts.

It always, always pays to read the context in which words, phrases, sentences, and even entire chapters appear to understand the meaning that the author is trying to convey!

Usually the obvious meaning is the correct one. This applies most importantly to our reading of God's Word!

God Bless You!

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What is the will of God regarding the salvation of all of mankind?

A. that every one would be saved

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men...

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 2:1-4

We can share the Good News with absolute confidence, knowing that God desires that every person be saved and come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
