Shannen Doherty says she is in remission after cancer battle
Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed alum Shannen Doherty says she is in remission after a long battle with cancer.

"Moments. They happen. Today was and is a moment. What does remission mean? I heard that word and have no idea how to react. Good news? YES. Overwhelming. YES. Now more waiting," the actress said in an Instagram post Friday. "As every single one of my fellow cancer family knows, the next five years is crucial. Reoccurrences happen all the time. Many of you have shared that very story with me. So with a heart that is certainly lighter, I wait. In the meantime, decisions. Reconstruction which is several surgeries. Decision on taking a pill for the next five years that comes with its own set of problems and side effects. I am blessed, I know that. But for now.... remission. I'm going to just breathe. #cancerslayer."

The message accompanied a photo of Doherty wearing workout clothes, sneakers and a cap, sitting on the floor with her head resting on her arms and her knees bent, ankles crossed.

Doherty, 46, was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2015.

Aaron Rodgers spotted with Kelly Rohrbach after split
NFL star Aaron Rodgers appears to have moved on from his recent split.

The 33-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback was seen playing golf with model and actress Kelly Rohrbach following his breakup with girlfriend Olivia Munn, according to TerezOwens.com.

Rodgers was spotted with a blonde woman Thursday at Westchester Golf Course in Los Angeles. Sources later confirmed the woman was Rohrbach, and said the pair are in "the beginning stages of an early romance."

TMZ reported Rodgers and Rohrbach looked "flirty" and appeared to be holding hands until they noticed people watching them. Rohrbach, who previously dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and Rodgers are both said to be "avid" golfers.

Rodgers and Munn, an actress known for The Newsroom and X-Men: Apocalypse, called it quits in April after three years of dating. The couple were "just on two different pages in life," E! News reported.

"They were great together -- never had fights, so getting back together can be possible, but as of now, they need time," a source said.

Rohrbach, 27, is known for her modeling work with Sports Illustrated, and will play C.J. Parker in the forthcoming movie Baywatch.

Which horror director walked out of an early screening of 'Reservoir Dogs'?

Oscar-winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino says horror master Wes Craven walked out of an early screening of Tarantino's blood-soaked, crime drama Reservoir Dogs.

Tarantino reunited with his fellow Reservoir Dogs cast members Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi and Michael Madsen Friday night after a screening of the picture at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

The writer, director and occasional actor recalled showing the movie more than 25 years ago at a horror film festival where one of the other features on the bill was Peter Jackson's gory, zombie flick Dead Alive.

"I thought, 'Well, OK, finally, I've got an audience that won't walk out,'" Tarantino said. "Five people walked out of that audience, including Wes Craven."

"You never told me anything about that," Madsen said. "That's a pretty cool story."

"The [expletive] guy who did Last House on the Left walked out? The guy who did Last House on the Left, my movie was too tough for him," Tarantino said.

Craven is also known for his work on the Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream franchises. He died in 2015 at the age of 76.

Tarantino's other films include The Hateful Eight, Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction.
