Here's the Scoop...

I'm a sucker for stories like this...

Serena Williams is going to be a first-time mom.

The 35-year-old tennis pro announced she's pregnant and expecting her first child with fiancé and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian by sharing a photo of her baby bump Wednesday on Snapchat.

"20 weeks," she captioned a picture of herself in a yellow swimsuit.

Williams and Ohanian got engaged in December after Ohanian proposed in Rome at the restaurant where they first met. Williams announced the news in a poem in the Reddit "r/isaidyes" forum.

"At the same table we first met by chance this time he made it not by chance but by choice," she wrote. "Down on one knee he said 4 words and r/isaidyes."

Williams and Ohanian were all smiles Monday in a new photo on Instagram. The tennis pro shared a picture of her husband-to-be sweeping her off her feet during a trip to the beach.

"My only regret is not pointing my toe sorry coach Garry," she wrote.

Williams said at a press conference after her win at the 2017 Australian Open in January that it "feels good" to be engaged. She confessed she and Ohanian have yet to make wedding plans, but had nothing but praise for the entrepreneur.

"He's incredibly -- a really nice person," the star said. "I think he definitely treats everyone the same, which is really cool to see. Really, really nice to see."

I wish them all the best, but I don't think they'll need it. I think Serena will Ace motherhood. Get it?! It's a tennis joke. I Love/Love tennis humor!

Be Well,
Steve

Julia Roberts named People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman
Julia Roberts has been named People magazine's World's Most Beautiful Woman for a record-setting fifth time.

"I am very flattered," the actress explains in People's upcoming 28th annual Wold's Most Beautiful double issue that is set to hit newsstands on Friday.

The 49-year-old has previously claimed the title of Most Beautiful in 1991, 2000, 2005 and 2010.

Roberts' fifth appearance puts her ahead of her friend George Clooney who has been named People's Sexiest Man Alive twice.

"I'm going to mention that in my Christmas card to the Clooney's this year," she joked.

Other women featured in the World's Most Beautiful issue include Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Chrissy Metz, Mandy Moore, Emma Watson, Oprah Winfrey and Carrie Underwood.

Richard Simmons hospitalized for 'severe indigestion'
Richard Simmons was hospitalized Monday for "severe indigestion."

The 68-year-old fitness guru's rep, Michael Catalano, told ABC News Simmons is "feeling better" after seeking treatment for gastrointestinal issues at a California hospital.

"Richard Simmons was hospitalized on Monday at an undisclosed location in California," Catalano said. "After a few days of battling severe indigestion and discomfort while eating, we agreed it was best for him to seek treatment."

"He's already feeling better and is expected to make a full recovery," he added.

TMZ reported Simmons didn't require an ambulance and was well enough to be driven to the hospital. The star was previously hospitalized in June after reportedly exhibiting erratic behavior, but later told Us Weekly he was "dehydrated."

Simmons' hospitalization this week follows concern about the star's disappearance from the public eye. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed in March that Simmons is not being held hostage by his housekeeper, Teresa Reveles.

"The fact of the matter is we went out and talked to him," Det. Kevin Becker told People. "He is fine, nobody is holding him hostage. He is doing exactly what he wants to do. If he wants to go out in public or see anybody he will do that."

"He is perfectly fine and he is very happy," he added. "I don't know what he is going to do, but right now he is doing what he wants to do and it is his business."

Alison Sweeney to return to 'Days of Our Lives'
Alison Sweeney will soon return to Days of Our Lives.

The 40-year-old actress announced in an Instagram video Monday that she will reprise Samantha "Sami" Brady on the long-running NBC soap opera.

"I have big news to share -- I'm coming back to Days! I'm so excited to tell all of you in person, sort of," Sweeney said in the clip.

"I'm really, really excited to be back in Salem," she added. "I'm going to start shooting again in a couple weeks, so you have to tune in to find out more."

Sweeney left Days of Our Lives in 2014 after starring on the series since 1993. She told Soap Opera Digest she will return to the show in May for "an extended visit."

"From my end, it takes a little bit of logistics with projects I'm working on. And unfortunately, this year's been hard for me because of my knee injury, so I had to push some stuff back," the star explained.

"I figured out a schedule, blocked out some time that I had available and we figured it out! I'll be shooting in Salem in May and June," she shared.

Sweeney is also known for hosting the NBC reality competition The Biggest Loser, and for starring in the Murder, She Baked film series on the Hallmark Movies channel. She last appeared in Murder, She Baked: Just Desserts in March.

Which Oscar winner will host the 2017 Tonys?

Kevin Spacey will host the 2017 Tony Awards.

The annual awards show announced in a press release Monday that the 57-year-old actor will host the ceremony in June. The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing will present the show at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

"I was their 2nd choice for Usual Suspects, 4th choice for American Beauty and 15th choice to host this year's Tony Awards. I think my career is definitely going in the right direction," Spacey joked in a statement. "Maybe I can get shortlisted to host the Oscars if everyone else turns it down."

Spacey, who started his career as a stage actor, won a Tony Award in 1991 for Best Featured Actor in a Play for Lost in Yonkers. He has also starred in productions of The Iceman Cometh, Speed-the-Plow and Richard III.

"We are thrilled to have Kevin, who has mastered the Broadway stage, the big and small screens and the West End, host this year's Tony Awards," The Broadway League president Charlotte St. Martin and American Theatre Wing president Heather Hitchens said. "His spirit and passion for live theatre makes him the perfect host, and we can't wait to see the energy he brings to Radio City on Tony night!"

"We're excited to be working with a witty and charming host who is not only a Tony-winning actor and fan of live theatre, he's also a president who is a true champion of the arts," executive producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner added.

In addition to acting, Spacey served as artistic director of the Old Vic theater in London from 2004 to 2015. He presently plays Frank Underwood on the Netflix series House of Cards, which will return for a fifth season in May.

The 2017 Tony Awards will air June 11 on CBS. The nominees will be announced May 2 in New York.
