Here's the Scoop...

Here's a sweet story...

Joe Manganiello says he was "put on the planet" to be with wife Sofia Vergara.

The 40-year-old actor couldn't help but gush about the 44-year-old actress while discussing their high-profile marriage in the April issue of Ocean Drive magazine.

"I just married the girl that I love. That was it," Manganiello said when asked if he ever expected to be part of a celebrity couple. "I really do believe that we were put on the planet to be with each other."

"From the first date, it was just like wow! It was so easy in all the ways that you want it to be easy and challenging in all of the most fun ways possible. So I knew right away and that was it," he added.

Manganiello and Vergara married in 2015 in Palm Beach, Fla., after more than a year of dating. The actor, who described his wedding as "the most incredible weekend of [his] life," said he and Vergara have only grown closer since.

"The two of us knew that once it became public that we were together ... that [it] would change a lot of things, and she is the only woman on the planet that I was willing to go through all of that for. Because she's the greatest," he gushed.

"All that pressure has just brought us closer together," the star said. "At the end of the day, it's really nobody else's business but ours. It's just that I love her and she loves me and here we are. And there is a price for that, when living in the public eye."

Manganiello and Vergara celebrated their second wedding anniversary in November. The actor said in the April issue of Cosmopolitan U.K. that the most romantic thing he's done for Vergara was to write her a book for their first anniversary.

"I wrote her a book as a gift for our first anniversary," he shared. "It was about how we met -- as well as our courting -- and was about 40 pages long."

I really hope those two crazy kids make it!

Be Well,
Steve

Report: Beyonce may voice Nala in 'Lion King' remake
Music superstar Beyoncé may voice Nala in a forthcoming Lion King remake.

The 35-year-old singer is director Jon Favreau's first choice to star with Donald Glover in the new Disney movie, according to Variety.

Sources stressed Beyoncé has yet to make a decision, but said Favreau and the studio "will do whatever it takes" to accommodate her schedule. The star announced in February that she's pregnant and expecting twins with husband Jay Z.

"[She's having a] harder time this pregnancy with keeping up her energy, [but] she loves being pregnant," an insider told E! News last week.

The Lion King remake was confirmed in September with Favreau at the helm. The film will be a live-action and animation hybrid -- similar to Disney's new Jungle Book, which Favreau also directed.

Glover was announced in February as the voice of Simba, with James Earl Jones to reprise Simba's dad, Mufasa. Jones voiced the character in Disney's original 1994 animated movie.

Joss Whedon in talks to direct 'Batgirl' standalone film
The Avengers director Joss Whedon has entered negotiations to helm a standalone Batgirl film for Warner Bros.

Whedon is negotiating with Warner Bros. to write, direct and produced the untitled film centered around the DC Comics heroine as part of the film studio's DC Extended Universe of films including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.

The film will be overseen by Warner Bros. Pictures president Toby Emmerich alongside Jon Berg and Geoff Johns.

Whedon previously wrote and directed several comic book properties in the Marvel Cinematic Universe including the first two Avengers films and the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

No other producers have been attached to the tentative project, which originated in the past month.

Batgirl, whose real name is Barbra Gordon, exists alongside Batman in the fictional city of Gotham and is the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon.

The proposed Batgirl movie would join other female-led DC Extended Universe projects such as Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and a planned spinoff film centered around Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn character from Suicide Squad.

Which Oscar winning actor said that 'ER' prepared him for twins?

George Clooney says ER prepared him to become a dad to twins.

The 55-year-old actor joked in an interview with E! News that his role as pediatrician Doug Ross on the NBC medical drama prepped him to welcome kids with wife Amal Clooney.

"I played a pediatrician on ER, so I know how to work on extra children," he quipped. "If there's any accidents, I'm there."

Julie Chen announced on The Talk in February that Amal is pregnant and expecting twins in June. Clooney, who spoke to E! while promoting his movie Suburbicon at CinemaCon, said he is thrilled to become a parent.

"Can you believe it? [I'm] even happier [than before]," he gushed. "I didn't know that we'd have kids. I was very happy that we were going to get married and then [a pregnancy] seemed like the next step."

Clooney married Amal in Venice, Italy, in September 2014 after less than a year of dating. He gave an update on the 39-year-old human rights lawyer an interview with Extra at the convention.

"She is doing really great. She's amazing. I don't have anything to do. There is nothing I can do to help, but make tea and stuff," the star said.

Clooney starred as Dr. Ross in Seasons 1 through 5 of ER, and appeared in Seasons 6 and 15. He directed Matt Damon, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin and Julianne Moore in Suburbicon, which opens in theaters Nov. 3.
