Hello Animal Lovers,

Its sad to know there are so many dogs out there that need homes right now. What keeps people from going to a local shelter and rescuing a pet from the streets? I think a lot of it has to do with wanting brand-new cute puppies for the kids, but also people are worried about teaching old dogs new tricks.

A rescue shelter in New Zealand wanted to challenge this idea by teaching some old dogs some very new tricks: like how to drive a car! It was a successful awareness campaign that had lots of cute pets picked up from the commercials when it ran.
