Acts 17:11

These (the Bereans) were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Luke is commending the Bereans for going home and studying the Scriptures to find out if what Paul had been telling them was true. We should do no less!

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

"The curiosity of an honorable mind willingly rests where the love of truth does not urge it further onward and the love of its neighbor bids it stop."

- Samuel T. Coleridge

--FEATURED FUNNY:

"Dad, are people really made of dust, like the Bible says?"

"In a sense, yes."

"And we're all going to return to dust when our bodies die?"

"Certainly."

"Well, we better stay out of the closet. Somebody's either coming or going in there, right now."

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. About which two of the seven churches in Revelation did Jesus have nothing bad to say?

A. Smyrna and Philadelphia

Revelation 2:8-11 and 3:7-13
