Greetings Infomaniacs,

December 7, 1941, a date which will live in infamy, Japanese planes raided Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in a surprise attack, bringing the US into WWII. But 1941 is not the only year that December 7 was an important day.

The unmanned Galileo spacecraft arrives at the planet Jupiter on it's mission to study the planet and its moons. The probe was launched 6 years earlier by the Space Shuttle Atlantis.
