Hello Animal Lovers,

Bats can get pretty large! I had no idea. This particular bat is a golden-crowned flying fox and wouldnt you know it? Just like any puppy he loves a good snuggle.

There are only two species of bats roughly around this size, which make them commonly called Megabats. Despite being large, their bones are still very light and brittle, so you have to be very careful while handling them.

You can hear the little chirps of happiness and see it in his eyes - a rare sight for a species usually riddled with viruses and rabies! But the handler has raised this one for a while, is vaccinated and has perfect confidence. Enjoy it!
